We are located in the outer area of Montes Claros Shopping Center, 15 minutes from the airport and the industrial district , 5 minutes walk from the bus station and 10 minutes the judicial district. Reviewed By ScepticalChymistThe place needs an human touch from the staff. The Internet does not work at all, the connection is broken with a high latency and it has no utility. After driving all day I hopped to take a hot shower but I only got cold water. In the breakfast they served spoiled fruits.

Reviewed By thiagoloures08Reservei um quarto no Hotel Residencial às 18:48, reserva de uma noite para os dias 07/02 e 08/02. Conforme indicado no Booking, o check-in é até às 23:30. Recebi uma mensagem do hotel às 19:01 me informando que o check-in era até às 20:00 (contrastando com o que foi informado no Booking). Não li essa mensagem quando me enviaram por estar na estrada a caminho do hotel. Cheguei no hotel às 20:12 e me informaram que minha reserva havia sido cancelada e que já tinham alugado o quarto para outra pessoa. Achei essa atitude uma total falta de respeito com o hóspede e gostaria de abrir uma reclamação contra a má conduta do gerente do hotel que destratou o meu pai quando reclamamos da situação com ele.

Reviewed By Lostsailor57Having stayed in various hotels in Montes Claros before, i was interested in staying somewhere else. Mainly because the other hotels have been disappointing. This hotel is less than a year old, so its infrastructure is in a very good condition. Location could not be better with various bars and restaurants nearby. The rooms are spacious, however there is room for improvement. A safe is essential. It doesn’t matter how trustworthy the staff are, it gives the guest a sense of security to place personal items locked up inside a safe. The lighting could be more subdued. Table lamps would be a good addition. The air conditioning is quiet and effective. The tv has most of the sports channels, but no international news channels. The shower is spacious with good pressure. The staff are all very friendly, courteous and efficient. It is difficult to single out any single person, as all the staff were great. However, Eder, who runs the restaurant, is superb. He will go out of his way to help you, and ensure that you enjoy the food available. The choice at the breakfast buffet is very good. Hot food is available, and omelette’s,fried eggs can be made to order. Eder kindly brought some special type of Mango from his home. Really kind of him. My wife ate in the restaurant at the evening, and she said the food was very good and excellent value. The rooftop leisure are is also very good. There is a lap pool, which is long and deep enough for good swims. The gym is well equiped, and the sauna is very hot and steamy. This is without doubt the best hotel in Montes Claros, and i fully enjoyed my 9 night stay here. I think that it is also excellent value for money. We will return here, and look forward to when this happens. Keep up the good work. This is an excellent hotel.

Reviewed By Bob GI stayed at the Intercity Montes Claros for one night. The hotel is quite new and is well built. I had a room next to the elevators and never heard them once. The room is quiet and comfortable. The included breakfast is very good and the hotel is centrally located.

Clean and relatively modern, but small, hard bed
Reviewed By ErvanInFremontThe room and building were clean, relatively modern, and well maintained. This is a safe choice, but not luxury. The bed however was small with a very firm pad, and not comfortable. There was A/C, but it was taxed during the summer. The bathroom was nice, everything in good order. There was a small desk, mini-bar, and WiFi. There was no view from my room. Breakfast in the morning was ample, with a large variety of typical Brazilian fare, but none of it inspired. There is a decent sauna pool and gym on the roof (but the pool is outdoors). This is in downtown Montes Claros, on the main square, across a small park from a church. It is not convenient to the highway, but it is to events in Montes Claros. When I stayed, Jan 2016, the room was about $35 (USD), which made the value high.
