Air condition. Three wuiet rooms 23-25 in back building. Breakfast has potential for improvement, especially coffee. You get what you pay for.

Reviewed By bluebug58We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. Valentina, our amazing superhost, made us feel at home the minute she welcomed us at the front gate. Ready to answer any and all questions, Valentina provided us with tips on seeing Venice, where the best places to eat in Mira were, and on and on. Valentina is truly a shining star! We stayed in the 'Green Room', uber clean and so nicely decorated with added touches (ie. candles etc). And then there was breakfast - wow - a huge spread of food fit for everyone's palate. Our only regret was that it was raining so much that we were unable to explore the garden and eat outside in the inviting 'gazebo'. We loved the animals which were so well behaved. This home away from home allowed us to experience the quiet, as well as being so close and convenient to Venice. Thank you so much, Valentina, for making our visit to Italy a most memorable one!

Quiet place, in the Venetian countryside. Swimming pool during summertime. From here you can visit Venice (12 km) and many other places of the Veneto region: the villas of the Brenta Riviera, Padova and the Euganean Hills, Treviso and the prosecco area, Verona and Garda Lake.
Wonderful stay - convenient location
Reviewed By debsiOur hosts Fabiana and her father Silvio were super. The location is great for traveling around the Veneto province and the best part is that parking is right near your room-apt. The grounds are great for couples and families - the pool and playground are secluded and immaculate.The apartment we stayed in was extremely comfortable and practical. There's the new mall Nave de Vero 7 mins away with great shops and a Coop supermarket where you can stack up on groceries. Venice is easily accessible. You can park your car at the bus station and take the bus (20 minute ride) to Venice. Buses run every 1/2 hour. You can use the 24 hr boat pass for bus as well. Saves a lot of hassle getting into piazza D Roma and expensive parking fees. The Agriturismo is right on the Brenta and the drive on the Brenta River is beautifully lined with palaces to visit. There are roaming markets daily in the area. It's a 40 minute drive to the spas in Montegrotto Terme and 15 minutes from Marco Polo - Venice airport. We've been here twice and are planning our next visit soon. Definitely beats the crowds and hotels in Venice and a great place to relax.

Reviewed By Stephen DB&B Villa Venezia was exactly as indicated...a homey, comfortable, exceedingly clean B&B in a small neighborhood on the outskirts of Venice. The amiable manager and her teenage daughter helped us settle in, while also providing guidance on local sites in nearby Venice. The house practically sparkled with its tidy kitchen (including access to a large refrigerator) and beautiful wooden floors, displaying an updated modern look in the rooms. Beds were comfortable, supplemented by nicely functioning A/C, especially given the unusual heat wave and typical local humidity we encountered. Free Wifi worked great in the common kitchen area, less so in the bedrooms themselves. Parking at the B&B was easy and safe, and it was a short drive to the closest rail station for a quick 20-minute train trip into Venice for a day trip. If you're looking to avoid substantially higher prices to stay in Venice itself, this is a terrific option.

The hotel has had a partial upgrade, but many of the original decorative features have been left. The restaurant is very good and is centred around sea food options although we did get an excellent steak. All of the staff were helpful and polite.

The Hotel Riviera dei Dogi was built in 1537. It is a Venetian Villa belonged to the Contarini Family. Due its enviable position, the hotel overlooks a beautiful view of the Brenta Canal and is situated halfway between Padua and Venice. Thanks to the excellent connections (the public transit system - line 53) allows you to reach the two cities in about half an hour.

Reviewed By natwes47We stayed here for 4 nights, the room was very pleasant and traditionally styled but a little small, there was however a comfortable seating area on the landing. We were on the top floor facing the canal which did mean a little road noise but we had a nice view. The shower was super with plenty of hot water. We had only one negative about the room and that was the lack of Tea/coffee making facilities, we were told that due to the age of the hotel they felt it was dangerous, I did suggest a flask of hot water in the seating area. We were led to believe this was a 4 star hotel but it is a nice 3 star. There is no restaurant and a small bar. When you arrive there is a Hand drawn map of the local area on the front desk, take a photo! We found it very useful. Breakfast for 3 of our days was served in the bar and was very limited sweet pastry or bread rolls with cheese/salami, on our last full day there had been a coach party in and the main dining room was opened for breakfast, this was a much better area and extra items such as toast were on offer. There is plenty of parking at the hotel and the local bus service is brilliant just a 4 minutes walk to the stop and catch the 53E to Venice don’t get the 53E Mestre that was our rookie mistake on the 1st morning. The bus will take you all the way into Venice €7.50 return. Buy your ticket at the paper shop and when you board the bus activate the ticket by the driver. We are really glad we stayed in Mira as it was quiet. The staff at the hotel were fantastic and very helpful, I would highly recommend a stay at the Riviera dei Dogi if you want somewhere out of Venice

Santa Barbara is a large brick farmhouse from the 19th century which has been thoroughly renovated and now offers 5 apartments (comfortable and nicely furnished with antics) for rural tourism. The kitchen has everything you need, The authentic historic Venetian and Italian prints on the walls add a distinguished touch to the place. With windows on three sides overlooking the countryside this place is enchanting. Access to the large pool, ping pong, foosball table and basketball hoop were a bonus surprise for the children. The hosts/owners were extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful! Taking the local (affordable) direct ferry to Venice was simple and convenient.
