Reviewed By julicaoWe were very happy about our stay in the hotel. Extremely friendly stuff. The food was very nice, including a lot of fresh fruit and salads. If I could suggest some thing for improvement regaring the foood I would wish for some more vegan friendly alternatives. I eat a vegan diet and choices were limited. Unfortunately the vegetable soups were all made with cream which is not a necessary ingredient to make a tasty soup. The pool is absolutely amazing and our kids really loved it. Make sure you reserve a room that has been renovated recently. The renovated rooms are lovely. But not yet renovated rooms are old and not very well coming. We reserved the hotel room 4 months in advance and upon our arrival we got not renovated really old-fashioned room which we didn’t like at all because it didn’t meet our expectancies built upon the pictures on the website. Luckily Antonella the reception manager managed that we could move after two days into another room. It is very convenient that they have the ski material rental inside the hotel premises and the shuttle bus service is excellent. All in all we really loved our stay and we will surely come back next year.

Hotel Màgic la Massana is located just 100 meters from the cable car with access to the ski slopes of Pal, Vallnord. It is an ideal hotel if you are fond of going by bike or mountain, or skiing. They have 108 rooms equipped with all the essentials: free WiFi, telephone, minibar, television, hairdryer, etc. They also have a restaurant, water area (pool, sauna, jacuzzi) and gym.

Reviewed By Bill VMy son had a bad mountain biking accident while staying in La Massana and needed to be heli-ported to the hospital in Andorra la Vella. I flew over from the US to be with him and assist him in getting home post discharge. I cannot thank enough the people from both Hotel Magic La Massana and Hotel Magic Andorra for all they have done for us. Staff from Hotel Magic La Massana arranged from transport of all of my son's stuff, at no charge to us, from his hotel room in La Massana to their sister hotel in Andorra la Vella, and had a reservation waiting for me when I arrived. Also, while they no doubt were unable to rent out his room for a couple of nights due to his stuff being in it, they didn't charge us for those nights. In addition,one of the staff members, Maria, was also extremely helpful in dealing with the rental car company my son had used so that I didn't have to deal with that when I arrived. She was constantly messaging or calling us on What's App to update us on where things stood and just to check on how my son was doing. She also found out what became of my son's bike and helmet and where those were being held for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much, Maria and all the staff there. When I arrived in Andorra La Vella, staff there were super friendly and accommodating as well, and I have written a separate review for them. As I didn't stay at Hotel Magic La Massana during my stay, I can't speak to the rooms or the pricing, but assume that my son will do that once he is out of hospital. The main purpose of this review is to commend them on their wonderful help and assistance during this very difficult time for my son and me. Hence I don't rate sleep quality and location below.

Great hotel for a family ski holiday
Reviewed By John FWe visited in the first week of March, staying for 7 days, and had a very enjoyable time in this lovely hotel with great staff, excellent facilities and an excellent location beside the gondola station that provided easy access to the La Caubella ski station and the slopes of Pal. One of the marks of a good hotel is how they respond when things are not right and a couple of early issues were quickly dealt with efficiently and thoroughly which enabled us to enjoy our stay and holiday at the Rutllan. We dined in the restaurant daily and enjoyed very good food and service in what is a comfortable and elegant room. Special mentiion must be made of restaurant manager Augustin and his friendly and efficient team who looked after us extremely well during our stay. The bar and lounge is also a lovely room with gorgeous wooden beams and wall panelling and a fabulous open fire. The bar is run by the very friendly, efficient and charming Jorge who dispensed warm hospitalty as well as drinks. Another tremendous facility, which we greatly enjoyed, is the spa that consists of a hydro pool, a steam room, and two saunas, which provided a wonderfully relaxing experience after a day's skiing. Overall we had a great stay at the Rutllan and look forward to returning again in the future.

The Font Andorra Hostel is a new hostel in La Massana, Andorra. Fully renovated in July 2021 with a privileged location next to the gondola that leads to the Vallnord Pal-Arinsal ski resort in winter and to the Bike Park Vallnord in summer. The hostel is in the center of Massana, an ideal base to explore the Pyrenees. The hostel is Caldea Spa and Andorra la Vella from 5 km. The hostel has shared quadruple and sextuple rooms, but also private doubles and quadruple rooms. * Sharing the same room is not guaranteed. All rooms have individual lockers, private bathroom with shower, heating, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi throughout the establishment. Enjoy our dining room with microwave, tables, fridge, kettle, coffee machine and vending machines, and also our fabulous TV room with sofas in penthouse.

Reviewed By emunneClean, renewed, practical, good wifi, confortable. Staff kind and servicial. I do recommend it 100% Realy convenient if you wish to ski at Pal -Arinsal, as the ski lift to the solopes is attached to the hotel. We sent to Ordino, which is close car driving.

Our rental apartments are the ideal place for shopping in Andorra la Vella, relaxing in Caldea or play your favorite sport (skiing, mountain biking, climbing, horseback riding, etc.). All apartments have very stunning views over the surrounding mountain scenery. In summer our external heated swimming pool will be at your disposal. Also tennis court, tennis table, barbecue, playground, solarium, snack bar terrace, etc... Free parking and wifi internet. Free charging point for electric cars. Our reception team will be always at your disposal for information and booking.

Reviewed By RDBYWithout question, the surroundings here (or anywhere in Andorra for that matter) are amazing. If you love the outdoors and specifically the mountains, you won't be disappointed. That said, if you're expecting the picturesque, historic architecture and "personality" that you'd find in the South of France...you won't get that here. This is relatively new condos that all look the same as far as the eye can see. The food is sub par (at best) and everything is overpriced compared to again...the South of France. My one beef with this place specifically is that for our entire stay, the smell of strong cleaning solution was overpowering and every time they cleaned a unit in our condo, it was almost too much to bear. I'm not normally sensitive to scents but this was over the top. The place is clean but only the expense of your nostrils.

Franz, the owner, is such an amazing person and is the best host you can ask for! He made us a perfect breakfast and always made sure we had everything we needed to feel at home, including a fridge full of goods all day long, a fully equipped kitchen, a Nespresso coffee machine, a big flat-screen TV, and much-much more! The house is beautiful, clean, and spacious. The garden, patio and living room were ideal for having a rest in the middle of the day. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we wished we could stay longer! We will surely return someday! Thank you, Franz, for everything!
