This property is family run by generous, kind and accommodating staff and nothing is too much trouble. Kythira is a hidden locals gem that you’ll never regret visiting. The best thing is the beaches are beautiful, views mesmerising and there are things to do to suit everyone.

Short and Tranquil stay
Reviewed By TikiMandalaI stayed here with a friend for 4 nights first week of June. When we arrived the reception was closed. But when calling the number written on the door, the owner showed up within 2 minutes and gave us a warm welcome. We got upgraded to 2 apartments with sea view as the hotel was not full a few weeks before the summer season would really kick off. The apartments are big. Really big. I had literally 5 beds to choose from. It is very pragmatic with a big open kitchen. Decor-wise it had nothing significant. It also had a nice balcony and the view was an amazing and stunning sunrise experience. Wifi / Internet connection was perfect. It's to the beach bars at Agia Pelagia.

The beach is very near and is the best on the island, sandy and crystal clear water. Would love to return.

Wonderful week stay at Romantica hotel
Reviewed By SPHTNJReally enjoyed our stay here. The studio had a view of the ocean (a close walk) and the pool was lovely. Christos was always around to ask if we needed anything. Lots of options for breakfast (local yogurt and fruit were my favorite). Wifi and hot water were intermittent but that seems to be the case all over the island? Plenty of parking, helpful staff, I would happily stay here again!

Nice rooms in Ideal area
Reviewed By PaulCreteSpent 2 nights here in Agia Pelagia and stayed at Venardos. It is situated in a quiet area a short way off the main road and the sea. Plenty of parking if you arrive by car. Rooms were very spacious with plenty of storage, a kitchenette and had large balconies or terrace. As is often the case, slightly let down by minor issues - there was no place on the wall to hang the shower in the bathroom and the shower cubicle had the dreaded plastic curtain that sticks to the body! Good breakfast was provided by the owner who was very nice, as were the staff. Price of rooms out of main season were excellent value for money and despite niggling issues, I would recommend this hotel and would likely stay again.

Excellent place to stay in Kythera

Run by the owner Maria, a very friendly, dynamic and caring person with a multidimensional personality, this facility offers magnificent seaview, clean and comfortable rooms with daily room service, rich and high-quality breakfast at a logical price. Stavroula (on reception) and Krystyna deserve particular credit Difficult to find as you have to drive right through town and up the hill out on the other side before you even see a sign. (Ignore the Satnav if it takes you up a narrow side road full of cars before you see the sign as you’ll simply have to reverse out!) Large airy foyer / lounge / bar with a lovely balcony overlooking the town. Large efficient lift giving access to all floors Very spacious airy bedroom with a huge terrace. Generous sized shower. All rather 1980’s but everything works and is spotlessly clean No tea/coffee making facilities, iron / board or robes - but there is a (rather weak) hairdryer in the bathroom and a refrigerator Shutters at the windows so those who wish to can cut out all light at night Lovely pool with surrounding sun beds which can get busy at the end of the day - although there was little shade around the sunbeds Very adequate buffet breakfast Steps directly down to the street to shorten the walk into town Overall we loved our stay here and we’re already planning to return

Outstanding accommodation in beautiful setting
Reviewed By mikealunMy wife and I stayed for 2 weeks at this outstanding accommodation. George and Voula and their parents Anna and Sotiris run a first class set of villas. They are so kind and helpful and go out of their way to make their guests have a superb holiday. Perfect English is spoken. the rooms are of the highest quality. Spotlessly clean, large and comfortable.. Breakfast is incredible - so many home made cakes, pies and jams , also delicious FRESH orange juice. High quality coffee too. We enjoyed 2 delicious home made meals at the property. My wife and I have visited about 55 Greek island Sirene Villas comes with in our top 3 favourites.. You felt as if you were staying with your very close cousins who wanted to spoil you with their generosity. Sirene is a gem of a place.
