Almost great stay for a sportsman!
Reviewed By marguskaasik21Picked the hotel because it "listed with a gym". Unfortunately the cardio equipment did not work. Other things kind of worked and I managed to do my session. Lobby bar could use some cozyer sofas to enjoy the bar better! Rooms looked great! Bathroom was beautiful and big. Breakfast was good as well.

Reviewed By Jeremy PThis hotel is prototypical Ibis. Nothing amazing, average 3 star, but because they include a solid breakfast buffet, you must give it 4 stars. What I do not understand is why the only phone charger in the room is 10 feet away from the bed. That is frustrating and very poor design. The thermostat was difficult to understand, and did not put out cool air. The hotel is directly adjacent to the bus terminal. The train station is an extremely easy 8 minute walk. You exit the main doors of the Station, and take the street directly in front of you. The Ibis is 500 meters on the right side, directly across the street from the Magnus. Immediately next to the hotel is a small shopping center, which has an excellent supermarket, named Rimi. There is also a pharmacy in that shopping center. So nothing extraordinary, but a decent hotel.

Terrible! Dirty, mouldy and very bad breakfast.
Reviewed By tussirosTerrible! Dirty carpets all over the corridors and in the rooms. Stained bed linen. Mould in the bathroom. Both dirt in plain sight and "hidden", like under the lid on the toilet paper. Overall not clean. Poor service. Breakfast buffet was half cold, eaven the parts that should be warm. It was also empty in some aspects 1 hour before breakfast time eas up. Also poor quality of food and the personal was young students with no training in food handling and no information about allergi/content of the food. Really bad sound isolation. Sounds from neighbouring rooms, corridor and street was loud. Bad smell in the bathroom but that was due to both the mould and the over use of cleaning chemicals on the floors. Bathroom floor was sticky from all the cleaning chemicals.

Four stars hotel that in reality is a ghost hostel (can't be called hotel).

I chose this hotel because the quality should be not that bad (four stars) and it is located in the old town. However, the experience is being extremely unpleasant and I will be leaving tomorrow morning. The hotel has no reception. First time in my life that a four stars hotel has no reception. This place should be downgraded to two or three stars (maximum) because it is not normal not to have a reception. Even I can't call this a hotel, this looks more like a hostel. Also, they are not informing about this in a clear way (during the check-out at Booking.com). Guys, please provide clearer info and use bold letters to make sure the info is understood by your customers. When I arrived at the hotel I found that I needed a code to open the door because there is no reception. Then, I realized that I needed to do the payment in advance and I did the payment but I didn't get the code after doing the payment (tech issue). Another two important facts are that there is no restaurant (because it is closed almost all the time) and also in the room there are no sockets close to the desk. How should I connect my laptop? This is not the quality of a four stars hotel. And last fact (till now). The room is very cold and I am freezing as if I were in a cheap hostel. I have called their customer service 24/7 number (virtual reception?) and nobody answered, and after a few minutes of waiting in the line a record told me that all their agents were busy and that they will call me back (and the call has ended). So, now I am freezing and there is nobody to resolve this. What a four stars hotel... This hotel should be called “Amberton Ghost” instead of “Amberton Cozy” because it looks like a ghost hotel and the way they treat customers is not that cozy.

Reviewed By Donna RI highly recommend this hotel, spotless clean and very friendly, polite and caring staff on the reception, however, the housekeeping girl on the 7th floor never acknowledged my good mornings or hello’s which I always offered with a smile, she never smiled once ! Breakfast was included although it’s more of a Lithuanian Breakfast but they do have croissants which I love, people seemed to really enjoy their breakfast as that time got busy, I’m just a fussy eater so that’s down to me and not the food. The hotel is very close to a big shopping mall, it’s a really good place, also there are little coffee shops along the street and across the road, which has a donut shop what sells the most amazing donuts I’ve seen and tasted, there is also a good sized supermarket. Great hotel in Kaunas, only about twenty minutes from Kaunas Airport for 13 euros, or you can catch the 29G bus tho the airport over the road for 1 euro and it will take around forty minutes.

Reviewed By emmavanheeThis hotel was a very pleasant surprise, the children loved it. It is something crazy, funny, with a mancave. You really need to book this hotel of you love a laugh. It gives you the real "Adams family hotel" vibes. Host was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very clean and breakfast is perfect, we got toast with Caviar!
