Reviewed By icemanjrMy wife and I stayed at Hotel Turismo in Huancayo for 4 nights in April 2019. It was not a good experience overall. Pluses: 1. The location is great. Right on the square. 2. Breakfast is good. Minuses: 1. Beds hard as rock. We did not sleep well. 2. Wifi disconnects every 5 minutes, forcing you to reconnect. 3. Poor management. One evening at approx 8PM, we informed the front desk that somebody had thrown up all over the floor of the Mens bathroom across from the bar. After breakfast the next morning, I used the restroom again and it still had not been cleaned. 4. Poor customer service by management, we were given bad information by one of their new employees and forced to absorb the cost of it. When we initially contacted them to make a reservation and told to make a wire transfer to confirm reservation as they do not accept credit cards. Which we did and it was an expensive time consuming nightmare. The transfer got lost because of a bad # we were given. In the end, we had to pay at the hotel by credit card. The hotel manager refused to compensate us for the time and cost of the wire transfers. $40 out, $25 back in. $65 total.

Comfortable and reliable hotel
Reviewed By iccassanWe switched over to the Hotel Plaza after accidentally booking a hotel without heat or hot water through Expedia. We had already been traveling for awhile and staying in some dodgy rural places, so we did not want to sacrifice comfort and proximity to town's activities. The hotel is new, sparkling clean, and with comfortable beds, a great desk and fridge, hot showers, and a space heater in the room. There was a beautiful view of Parque Tupac Amaru out the window, and that turned out to be an excellent location for getting dinner and people watching. Staff was kind and got us checked into a room quickly after freezing and not sleeping well the previous night. We are grateful for finding a modern and comfortable hotel in the heart of the city.

The Ayenda Isha Hotel is located in the city of Huancayo, all rooms have a private bathroom, personal hygiene kit, television and courtesy bottle of water, it also offers American-style breakfast included. Our hotel is located in the historic center of the city, very close to the Huancayo Cathedral, just a 2 minutes walk away, and the Plaza de la Constitución, just a 4 minutes walk away. The closest airport is the Francisco Carlé Airport, 1 hour by car, as well as the Great Terrestrial Terminal of Huancayo, 16 minutes by car.

Reviewed By ChefRichard3Pros: Staff were pleasant. Did not speak any English, so make sure you have a good translator app installed on your phone, if no hablo Español. Cons: Water barely gets warm, but NEVER hot. From our rooms (503 - 504), you could hear dogs barking all night long (comes from behind hotel). WiFi was spotty at times. Rooms *01 & *02 (floors 3-8) are on the street side. Not sure how much noise you hear from the VERY busy street below.

BLUB Hotel Spa is located in the center of the city of Huancayo, a block from the main square and close to the financial and commercial center city. a few minutes you can enjoy the beautiful valley of the Mantaro, Snowy Huaytapallana and other tourist areas.

Reviewed By fabrice mTerrible experience. Hotel at the the end of a non-asphalted stinky dead-end street. Inside it's more or less the same. Non-renovated rooms fixed with tape, if broken. Dubious cleanlinness. Where did they find their three stars ? Nobody knows. Breakfast (if I can say so) is so bad you want to leave. The people who have this hotel don't know what tourism is.

Reviewed By Rusty RAverage room, average bed, water flow intermittent. In a quiet area though so that's a bonus. Despite advertising that visa is accepted, they only accept cash. Also, expect to pay a tax/ other surprise surcharge on whatever the advertised price per night is.

The Ayenda Galio Hotel is located in the city of Huancayo, all rooms have a private bathroom, personal hygiene kit, television, Wi Fi and complimentary bottled water. Our hotel is very close to the Huancayo Cathedral, just 9 minutes walking, also very close is the Huancayo Stadium, just 8 minutes walking. The closest airport is the Francisco Carlé Airport, 1 hour and 13 minutes away by car, as well as the Great Terrestrial Terminal of Huancayo, 20 minutes away by car.

The Hotel is located in the neighborhood of San Carlos, in one of the most exclusive residential areas of the city, where executives, cultural artists and people of recognized position reside. Surrounded by parks, educational centers and shopping centers where the visitor can enjoy a pleasant stay. The Hotel has 14 rooms and 8 bathrooms distributed in such a way that you can enjoy a stay without worries. In addition there is a private garage space in the vicinity of the building for your convenience. All rooms have cable TV, hotel furniture and parquet floor, in the bathrooms there is a hot shower and the hotel provides bathroom linen for your toilet, in addition there is free Wi-Fi connection and a video surveillance system closed circuit for your safety. On the third floor there is a dining room for the client to have breakfast or lunch with views of the mountains, and on the roof of the building is the laundry and a gazebo where you can see the entire city.

Reviewed By illaryjessiOur stay in Hospedaje Virma has been exceptional. We find the space comfortable, clean and welcoming. The staff are friendly, kind and very accommodating. They provide a delicious breakfast!! The area is quiet and has a variety of stores and amenities close by, like the Parque Wanka. My Dad and I stayed at Virma for a few weeks. My Dad was recovering from an illness. Pepe and the staff have been so caring all along. They have made us feel at home. We are very grateful that we found this B&B in Huancayo.

Disappointing service
Reviewed By 517bethIt has been well over a month ago that we stayed at this hotel, three hours from our home and accidentally left our phone charger in the room. We called the next day and they found it in the room. But for over a month we have tried to get them to send it to us, us paying the cost to send, but they can’t be bothered to do it. Their excuse is they are too busy. Our business must not be very important to them. The room itself was nice and the breakfast very good.
