Reviewed By weemacsthis B&B is on the outskirts of the city but a pleasant experience with jolly staff and very acceptable arrangements. plenty of secure parking, comfortable room and very good shower. there is a traditional Czech restaurant a five minute walk away and breakfast in the pension was good. if you are heading for the motorway then this location is a good pace to start.

We offer apartments in the centre of Hradec Králové. The apartments are situated in the historical centre in a protected historic building. The building was reconstructed in the period from 2005 to 2006, all newly emerged apartments are equipped in a modern and tasteful manner.
Great location, facilities, and breakfast
Reviewed By Hani_HamidThe location was great, the hotel was very close to the zentrum. There are many restaurants and bar nearby. We had beers in the bar just next to the hotel, something with Hradek. The facilities was great. I got everything what I need, particularly kitchen appliances. The toilet is very clean. We stayed in 2 bedrooms and the bedroom below was in good size. But, I am not really fans of hard mattress so I am not that comfortable with the the mattress. The check in process was smooth. The staffs were nice. I left my camera when I was checked out and the staff helped me to get it back. The breakfast was great. It was worth it. We booked together with the room. The location was different hotel but it was very close. It was in wine cellar and the variation of the food was good. We just park our car in front of the hotel with a special permit from the hotel. It was free. It was nice without having to think about parking cost in the city center.

Reviewed By Andrzej W+ krásné prostředí v těsné blízkosti lesa + relativní klid, byť je lokalita v posledních letech přetížena lidmi + dobrá dostupnost a možnost parkování + rekonstrukce objektu + jídlo dobré a originálně připravené (např. karlovarský knedlík u svíčkové obsahoval rovnou brusinky atd.) - obsluha (lehce zmatená a dává si dost na čas) - čekací doba na jídlo (naše osobní zkušenost cca 45min. a to jsme byli v restauraci úplně sami!!! navíc to obsluha přešla bez omluvy tzn. berou tento stav zřejmě jako standard) - vyšší cenová politika (např. svíčková 249,-)

strange handing in critical situation
Reviewed By zduchazI had an accident on my way to hotel and ringed to reception bell on 22:00, where I was informed that check-in is until 21:00. I apologized that I was not able to come earlier due to accident, I am in the stress and very politely asked if they could let me in, that I was riding more than 4 hours and had accident. No, they were not willing ( I understand she was 1 hour home that time), but instead to help me solve this situation, she explained to me what everything I have made wrong. I said my sorry again and asked why they have not called me that they are closing and I m not checked in (had chat via reservation system with my phone No). No reply. I was really desperate, at the end I have asked her if there is any place to stay, she recommened me something what I could not find. Women at reception even did not say she is sorry :( It seems to me that I was too decent and behave too well comparing their manners. They left me at the street at the night as woman alone. This is not ok. Business is not only about the rules, but about wilingnes to handle critical situation. At the end I have mobilized myself, found another hotel where staff was really nice and prepared breakfast just for me even if I was the only one guest and make reservation and check in that day 22.00.

Friendly, quite and good location hotel

Hradec Kralove is very nice and interesting city and this hotel was a good starting point for visiting castels in the eastern Czech Republic. The room was very spacious, nice, maybe more decorations would revive the interior, but I was satisfied with the choice of hotel. Only I was dissatisfied , that we were not supplemeted with soap and hygiene items during our stay in hotel. Breakfast was good, staff in hotel very kind. The hotel I can highly recommend to others.

First time at this hotel, not the best experience
Reviewed By Cosmopolitan413417Perfect location, nice and helpful staff at the reception, good breakfast, but repetitive menu almost every morning. The room was equipped with law quality, old furniture, there was no chandelier or enough lumps in the room, so it was almost impossible to work in the evenings or nights. The walls were so thin, that you can hear every conversation around the room, and also feel an "earthquake" every time someone closes the door of the next room. The bathroom was quite comfortable. The worst thing was the absence of a cleaning service in the room. I stayed there for 2 weeks, no any single day I had someone cleaning my room, it was completely dusty by the time I was leaving. The only thing the cleaning lady did, was she changed towels a couple of times and was taking garbage every day. She was the only one doing that job, and same lady was responsible for cleaning rooms and serving breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel unless they hire more and better human resources in terms of cleaning service and providing breakfast.

Beautifully restored building!
Reviewed By diver8264Stayed Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. Check out time of 1100 was altered to 1500 for small extra payment. Restaurant and pool closed for "technical reasons". This 14th Century building has been beautifully restored, furniture and decoration are good quality. Reception was helpful and efficient. Breakfast choice was good except for only one type of eggs (fried) available. Service on the Saturday was patchy with only one hard working staff member present, much better with two on the Sunday. Bathroom in our room was spotless and modern, with a bidet. The atrium, with real trees, was a nice surprise. The room information pack states breakfast is from 0630, in fact it is from 0700, Also in the information pack was an inventory listing how much guests will be charged in the event of damaged or missing items, I have never seen such a thing anywhere else in the world! Apart from that, and what I thought were hard pillows, the stay was very good. Our room faced the square, traffic passing through was very light, but as the road is cobbled the noise can be a problem for light sleepers.
