Rooms are very clean, same as the whole hotel in all areas, cozy, quite small, looking exactly like on the hotel pictures. What are the positives? Good locatikn, nice rooms, nice pool, wellness centre with all possible services, dream spa. I tried combined aroma bath and massage… and I was very satisfied. Spa area is very clean and comfortable. Staff is excellent. Use pool, pool bar and jacuzzi… be careful on slippy floors in showers. WIFI connection is very good. I tried to measure its speed and it was around 40 MBit. Generally I liked the staff which is well chosen by the hotel management. Breakfast is just perfect. You can find almost everything in buffet, including sparkling wine. I was just surprised by wide choice in such a small hotel (around 36 rooms). Hotel is checking your Covid Pass. And now negatives. Yes, there are some and it would be pity to overlook them. Simply said…. Air- condition system is horrible, it is noisy and not strong enough, specially if you have a room under the roof and on the West side. Such rooms are quite warm and it is quite hard to sleep when the A/C system is switched on. But what is even worse are pillows and mattresses. While it would not be easy to deal with the A/C system for the hotel (just try to avoid rooms under roof), it would be easier to do something with beds! These are not beds and pillows for 5 stars hotel, but rather 3 stars. Good bed is the basis for good hotel. And this hotel can be perfect. I also tried restaurant for dinner and I was not satisfied. Staff is very nice, but my dish was not (salmon steak and roasted vegetable noodles… both swimming in oil, not only terriyaki sauce). Would I come again? Yes, definitelly. Look at other hotels at this place and it is clear decision.

Reviewed By RusNewtonHotel Stekl is in a great location - basically right next door to the castle, which is apparently modelled on Windsor Castle in England. The entrance is on a private road and so you need a parking permit - which is not very clear until you check in. Check in was a bit slow and in general I'd say that customer service at the hotel was average-to-poor. For example the first time we dined in the restaurant, when I ordered they told me that the meal I ordered wasn't available: if there are items not available, why not tell people up-front rather than waiting until they're ready to order? Another issue with the restaurant is that the menu doesn't change: that means that if you're staying more than a few days, you're going to want to look elsewhere for dinner if you want some variety. The rooms are a good size, but somewhat dated in appearance and the lighting is flourescent, meaning they lack atmosphere which is a shame given the four-poster bed for example. The common areas of the hotel were cold, especially when people failed to close doors behind them (e.g. door to restaurant). The exterior doors are very large and noisy to close - one evening there was a lot of slamming as people didn't seem to bother to be very considerate to guests who might already be in bed. We also heard a very long argument between some guests in a neighbouring room so the insulation can't be very good. The spa facilities are pretty good - small pool, jacuzzi, private jacuzzi & sauna, gym. Again though it's odd that you would arrive in the spa and they don't offer you a towel or anything. Overall it's a good base of operations but they could make a lot more of the location.

Warm bedroom/Bathroom in the winter when we were there. Our room was missing the curtain so woke up to the sunlight in the morning. Would have been nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room and to be honest I expected it as standard for a 4 star and didn't check. Good WIFI connection everywhere in the hotel. Good location for the town center and a short 5/10 min walk up the hill to the castle. Parking right outside or around the back of the 2nd hotel building. Breakfast was OK, more in line with a 3 star hotel then a 4 star but it was adequate. Excellent Chinese restaurant on the doorstep.

Reviewed By Barbora HWe went there for a family dinner and had an awesome experience. It was close to the closing time yet they were welcoming and friendly. The food looked great and was fresh, nicely seasoned and tasted delicious. We were hosted by David who was attentive professional and smiling. He definitely wants to make sure the restaurant standards of the service is on a very high level. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our dinner heaps. I would recommend this place to anyone. I even found a great vegetarian meal on their menu and it wasn’t a fried cheese with fries ha but fresh nutritious dinner. Thank you

We provide an excellent and comfortable accommodation in nine brand new and fully furnished apartments. All apartments feature Smart TV, WiFi, and fitted kitchen with a dishwasher and sanitary facilities. The Residence Hluboka also offers a cosy lounge situated in the atrium where we serve breakfast and organize social events or parties in the two rooms there.

Reviewed By filip_270Paní majitelka této usedlosti se o hosty stará bez sebemenšího nedostatku. Skvělá atmosféra ať už na pivo po sportu nebo při večerním grilování během ubytování. Penzion leží na velice frekventované cyklostezce (směr Hluboká nad Vltavou nebo České Budějovice) takže není problém si udělat výlet na kole, bruslích či pěšky ať už s rodinou nebo v páru. Cca 400m autobusová zastávka.

Im Bungalow waren 4 einzelbetten, ein bad mit toilette und dusche, ein tisch mit stühlen, ein fernseher und ein kühlschrank. Im hotel waren alle freundlich. Das hotel liegt 15 minuten autofahrt von budweis entfernt.

Twelve comfortable rooms provide a view of the Castle Hluboka or the golf course. The KA.PR*** guest house provides 29 beds with 1 single room, 8 double rooms, 2 four-bed rooms (duplex: 2 beds downstairs, 2 beds in garret), and 1 four-bed suite (1 bed plus 1 two-bed room downstairs and 1 two-bed room in garret). Some extra beds can be provided. All rooms are well-equipped, including shower (bath), TV, telephone, internet and safe. Accommodation at 2 p.m. We beg our guests to leave the room by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure. Attractive discounts are offered for stays longer than one week, and for groups of 10 or more. Our suggestion: To make your stay more enjoyable we can recommend or arrange the following sports activities: golf, tennis, bowling, horseback riding, bike rental, fishing, hunting, swimming pool with switchback, football and baseball field, ice stadium. We also recommend other leisure time activities, such as: touring Hluboka Castle, cinema and theater, gallery and concerts (on the Hluboka Castle courtyard in summer), ZOO.

The rooms are comfortable and although it is just off the main road the room was quiet. breakfast is buffet style and an egg cooked to yuor taste. Friendly lady who overseas it all. We were on a bike tour and this is a good location and near the castle.
