Reviewed By mogensen2018Juelsminde strand is a nice and clean hotel. The staff is friendly and accommodating The room was nice and clean, but without extra necessities such as a coffee machine or kettle so you can make tea / coffee in the room. The toilet was about 4 sqm.

The hostel is nicely furnished with lovely facilities and of course you and your family as our logging-guest will have the possibility for 'wild' experiences. We work hardly every day - with caring presence - to give the flair of something very special for your stay.

Reviewed By AngelaD1235Myself, a friend & our two 6 yr olds visited in September 2017 (the date below doesnt go down to 2017 so ive put the lowest at feb 2018) We were staying in the hotel at the airport & caught the bus direct there. We did the safari around the park, saw the lions lazing after eating meat the day before. We loved walking through the monkey area, & the gorilla had had her baby (which must be 1 & half years old now) . We ate lovely food at thier restaurant, saw amazing animals, lots of clean large areas. Well looked after. Elephants were my friends favourite, & i just loved everything about the whole place. We did go back to Billund in 2018 but the few days we were there the zoo was closed so we didnt manage a second visit. We are planning to visit again this year .

Reviewed By 185katjakWe stayed 2 nights in the cabin nro 21 and hated every moment of it: 1. The smell of the cabins is outrageous and they are filthy! We ended up putting our tent up for the second night since we just could not sleep inside. 2. The customer service is non existent. After spending one smelly night in the cabin all our linen smelled awful. Since we still needed yo camp for another week I asked the reception if they would help us by giving some coins to the laundry machine. The older gentleman said: ”oh we never do that to our customers” I said: ”so you are saying you don’t help your customers after they have had an awful experience and by that you could ease their mind” and he replied ”no we dont”. So you have been warned: they dont help their customers. I actually feel sorry for the guy and his mindset. The coins for the laundry costed me about 50 krons. If he would have given me that I would have been happy and not come and write here. This statement stays in Tripadvisor permanently. So for the fellow travellers I advise: Stay away from here.

Reviewed By Angela Ostopped on the off chance of getting a room. owner was very friendly and accommodating. Had a twin room with a shower. very clean and tidy. Free Wifi and continental breakfast included in the price. Only 20 mins drive from Billund Airport, and Legoland, Hotel in situated in a quiet well kept village.

Nice and clean apartment
Reviewed By cenosureWe were two families staying for 2 nights to visit Legoland. The place is situated 11 minutes (by car) from Legoland which is perfect. Super friendly service and a very nice and clean place. Perfectly equipped kitchen and we got a crib to our 7 months baby. Totally recommend it!

Reviewed By 422joshnpWell where do I start,this place has been nothing but superb to me and I’m speaking on behalf of 5 of us we’ve been here for two months whilst on work duties and both owners jan and lona are probably up there with the nicest people I’ve ever met along with there family and friends oh and there wonderful dog taja We have never been made to feel more welcome they alone have made our time here in Denmark that 100x better they cannot do enough for you and always want to make sure everything is ok and treat you like family, I will definitely recommend this place to anybody who needs somewhere to stay in Denmark and I’ll definitely be returning one day and I’m going to be very sad to leave here. Now for the accommodation it’s very clean here there’s everything you could need facilities wise and more parking is great every room has an en-suite the living room is all what you need and there’s a cooker oven and fridge freezer along with your own washing machine and dryer there’s nothing more you need. Surroundings the scenery is second to none it’s absolutely beautiful and peaceful set back from all the madness for you to relax. Like I’ve already said I will be very sad to leave this place, the owners and the people I have met but I will definitely be back one day and it’s a 5 star rating from me thanks for having us Jan/lona family and friends. ??

Reviewed By Willem DWe were here for a holiday, with the motorbike. we made 2 tours with the owner of the hotel. Top class. the food that we have got was very good and spicy. we have got some Indonesian food...woow! The rooms are simple and the toilets and showers are located at the corridor, but that was no problem, because there were enough showers, almost 1 per 2 rooms. There was also a parkinglodge for our motorbike with connections for loading up the battery

The place doesn't look very cosy at arrival and some rooms have shared toilet and shower but the extremely clean and well organised facilities and the very good breakfast sure make up for that. Owner Ingrid is on top of things and always busy, but makes time for your questions.

Reviewed By HardyshanghaiWe stayed there overnight in a cabin. Owner welcomed us warmly. The place is very clean (grass area, facilties and commodities). The night spent was very quiet and allowed us to recover well for our next adventure towards Copenhaguen.

I had a problem with my flight home my phone was out of charge the owners were so warm and welcoming in my hour off need helped me with my phone situation offerd me food and drink i will forever be greatfull for their hospitality. I will definitely book to go back in better circumstances thank again lost liverpool lad
