Reviewed By Caio SThis place is kind hotel farm in town. Has animals, many trees and quite spacious.I was well attended in all aspects. Breakfast is average. The cleanliness of the room is good and is made when requested. The pool although small and not be as it appears in the photos is very pleasant.

The best hotel in Guarapari
Reviewed By RobertJF57I love this hotel, and have stayed there several times. The people are outstanding. Very friendly, and at least some ability to speak English. The hotel is older, but well maintained, and has inside parking, which is important. Parking on Brazil's narrow streets is often difficult. The included breakfast is very good, featuring a lot of Brazilian fruits and baked goods. The pool is nice, and the seating area nearby is a good place to relax. The hotel is on the beach, and there is a shopping district with many small restaurants only a few minutes walk from the hotel. A prominent police presence keeps things safe at night. With the exception of the largest cities, Brazil's bad reputation for crime is undeserved. I felt safer here than in some American cities at night. My excellent rating is based on a comparison of the other nearby hotels. An American tourist may find the simple atmosphere a little disappointing, but Guarapari is a smaller city, and not a prime destination for foreigners. But I believe that vacationers should consider the more manageable size of Guarapari when choosing a Brazilian vacation spot. While we have a condominium in Vitoria, which is a very nice city, we still enjoy an occasional vacation in Guarapari, and when we go, we stay at the Hotel Atlantico.

This time I took a trip with my 2 teenagers and the goal was to resolve some family affairs. Therefore I tried to choose a hotel where my kids could enjoy when I was not around. The hotel was clean and the staff very nice but the building is ready for some renovations. The room is very simple, the furniture as well. My kids had lunch at the hotel restaurant and found the food pretty good, but pricey.

Good Hotel, Good Beach — Almost No Foreigners in Sight
Reviewed By Andy BThe Hotel da Léa is simple, clean, comfortable, and smack beachfront. This part of Guarapari, known as Meaípe, is off the typical, tourist areas for foreigners. It is mostly frequented by local, Brazilian tourists—and very family-oriented in that! In fact, most Brazilians who go there go especially for the peace and quiet that beach provides. It is nothing special, as far as beaches go, but it does have its charms in the off-season. No one should expect fine-dining establishments there, but there are many good restaurants, with local cuisine dishes, a few steps from the hotel, all along the beach. Also, don't expect the locals to speak or understand English; however, as it happens all over Brazil, one way or another, they always figure out how to communicate with foreigners. In sum, if one is looking for a tropical destination to get away from it all, relax, and soak up the sun alongside the locals, this is a good hotel for that.

A very relaxing friendly stay
Reviewed By Dale SWe found the Hotel Raio de Sol to be a very friendly family run hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home. The room with a balcony was very comfortable, and very clean and fresh. Breakfast was simple, but there was a good variety of fruits, breads, cakes, meats and cheese, aswell as juices. Plenty of sweetened coffee, and coffee without sugar. Hot scambled egg, hot sausage, and hot manjauka too. All delicious. It is very convenient for the schooners, the town centre shops, Praia do Moro, and Areia Preta, all within walking distance, and other beaches. All the staff, and the family who own it, were very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent value for money Highly recommended. Dale and Claudia

CHRISTMAS FOUR NIGHTS STAY IN DECEMBER 2016.

Rooms: a disaster, old bulding with poor maintenance, we have to visit 5 rooms to get one with some condition to stay. Even this one there was burned lamps, the bathroom was not realy clean, not because the cleaning lady, but the bathroom conditions. The rooms on the floor 10 are the ones the are in better shape. Mold smell on the lower floors. Breakfast: Horrible, no quality at all. Cold cuts not kept refrigerated on the table, not even on the top of a container with ice. No cover protection for the food, and there were flies around. Price: good for the location and not good for everything else.
