Despite the no frills reception, you get what you pay for at this place. Great location, clean room - although it can be noisy as you can hear your neighbors sneeze, and clean. Within walking distance to most sights in Guadalajara.

I am not quite sure why this hotel is 4 star but I am also very surprised it receives such bad reviews. It is a very nice hotel. The reception staff will speak English if needed and there is loads of space both in reception and at the bar and the snack bar to sit around with all your friends. The rooms are a good size and also the bathroom. The beds are large and very comfortable and the whole is very clean. The only drawback is location in a small commercial park and also if you have the window open there is quite a lot of traffic noise. However if you are visiting Guadaljara or are on a business visit it is very convenient as there is loads of parking. We had dinner in the restaurant and the Menu del Dia was good value if unexciting and the service was friendly and efficient.

Nice room. But lack of services

Reviewed By Faye J

On arrival room fine, couldn't get light to work as put card in wrong..but fine. No restaurant or bar facilities available that evening...poor for a hotel. Had to go outside to eat. On every other evening never anyone serving in "bar" area, call it a bar but its not by any standard. Breakfast bearable but nothing to write home about, pod style coffee. No kettle or drinking facilities in room, and only 2 irons for whole hotel. Parking us very tight to get in and out and has silly intercom twice to get to hotel parking. Didn't eat dinner in hotel and not sure if and when it was open as badly communicated.

Probably the best that you can get in Guadalajara!

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Guadalajara centre, just off the motorway, so it is a great stop off point when travelling from the South to the North of Spain, as an alternative to Madrid. Parking is easy, plentiful, and seems secure. Breakfast was acceptable and the bed(s) comfortable. Check out was excellent, with a very friendly and helpful lady, who asked us about our stay. Even though this is probably the best hotel in the area, it falls short in a number of points. The Reception staff on check in were very poor. They (3 of them!) were not friendly nor welcoming. They had problems entering us on their computer and adding our passport details. Then, they put my nationality as Irish (instead of British). They seemed embarrassed when I pointed it out to them, but they did not apologise or offer to correct it. The 'double' bed was, in fact two single beds, pushed together, but made up separately.

Gran ubicación y buena pensión

Reviewed By eriol-gasteiz
