Stayed here in may/June 2022. Hotel is situated close to universal/warners and is good for access to the tourist areas around Hollywood. Staff were friendly and check in/out was very easy. Good parking facilities. Rooms are quiet and clean. Decor/furnishings in the rooms are adequate and basic. Kettle and fridge provided. Bathroom is very old fashioned with showers that could really do with an overhaul, and lead to a star being knocked off the overall rating. Is fine if you just need somewhere to sleep and store your stuff while exploring the area. On the whole, it appears hotels in this area are overpriced, so don’t be disappointed if you expect more for your money.

Nice view on 18th floor

Reviewed By Quiet_Night

I stayed here for one night over Memorial Day weekend in Room 1806 which was the executive level. The King room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The room had updated touches, and everything worked very well in the room - toilet, lights, bed, safe, etc. Shower pressure a little light but not a big deal. On a Sunday night, the 18th floor was quiet and I slept well. When I first checked in I could hear a lot of traffic noise even from the high floor. However, by the time I went to sleep it had quieted down considerably. The hotel had 4 elevators and wait time was minimal. Self parking garage underneath the hotel was convenient (albeit a bit spooky so park close to elevators) and was only $12 with AAA. They also have valet parking too. $18 breakfast credit came with executive suite. Breakfast area very nice and good service the morning I used it. My only complaint was with some of the clientele. When I first arrived there was a woman who was drunk or stoned getting off the elevator who continued to sleep in the lobby. A man was in the hotel with a dog which was clearly not a service animal and I booked because of pet-free hotel. A lot of foreigners and/or tourists seemed to be staying at this hotel too. But hey it's LA. I also used the gym which was excellent, and the hotel has a pool. Finally, as a gold member I requested early check in and was able to get into my room before noon. I was pleased with the service I received at this hotel.

Fabricating and Nonprofessional Manager and Housekeeping TeamGuests Beware take Pics of Room when you Leave

Reviewed By Erika C

Guests Beware take Pics of Room when you Leave During my last stay it was brought to my attention how my husband and I left bed sheets. Rozy Asatryan the Manager had claim the bed sheets were dirty from urine or coffee. Rozy handed me a picture of stain sheets. I explained to Rozy Asatryan that is NOT how I left sheets. Rozy Asatryan said "accept it". Unprofessional manager! ABSOLUTELY FABRICATED by either housekeeper and/or manager. That afternoon I had made out DRY bed sheets. Reason being because I didn't want to request housekeeping. So housekeeper entered room without a request. I know the accusation is NOT TRUE. I am dissatisfied and bothered on what occurred during my last stay, from January 23 to January 29, 2022. My husband and I have been frequently staying at Vagabond Inn since September 2021. We're very good patrons. My husband and I are in the middle of relocating homes. He has his business office in Glendale. Vagabond Inn defitnely LOST our patronage.

musty smell, noisy, mediocre breakfast

Reviewed By VerifiedReviewer2000

There is a musty smell on our floor. AC works but makes lots of noise. Also footstep noise from upstairs due to poor noise insulation. Our room faces the pool which is supposedly the quieter rooms in the hotel, but there is constant traffic noise from the busy intersection (got better later at night). Breakfast is mediocre, I ate less and less as the days go by coz I got tired of it. Bed is okay but pillows are not comfortable. Housekeeping did a good job, you do have to request for it at front desk. Self-parking garage is a must (~17 dollars per night). The strip mall next to the hotel (which has Yoshinoya, etc.) looks stretchy, I am a bit concerned when getting food at night. Location is good with nearby Americana mall and many eateries. A dimsum chain is right across the street. I will not be staying here for my next visit to LA.

Glenridge Inn - a nice independent motel

Reviewed By GiAl

The Glenridge Inn is typical motel, family run , well maintained, very clean and comfortable. We have been there four days and are very satisfied. Beds are comfortable with a size adequate for two people, space in the room was enough for three people without stepping on each other’s toes. Three is no noise from the street, but if you are on the ground floor you may hear noise from the room above yours. The room has a microwave, a larger fridge than average for hotels, ironing board and iron. There is ample parking in the motel lot, we never had a problem finding a spot, even if the venue was full. The location is perfect, very close to freeway 134 and 2, 5 minutes from Pasadena and twenty minutes from downtown LA. There is always somebody available at the reception and the location is video surveilled, we had a feeling of being safe. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We will certainly go back and I definitely recommend it.

Nasty.. don’t do it

Reviewed By Y3423DEsarahs

I booked this hotel in the first place for my sister following her surgery to heal and recover in a nice hotel. I chose this particular hotel because of the location and the pictures online looked pretty nice but this place was straight up nasty. Do not stay here. The air conditioning hardly cooled the room, there were weird bugs/worms in the bathroom and the other guests staying at the hotel were super sketchy looking crackheads. Honestly, it was awful. The bed only had three pillows and when my sister asked for another one, the front desk said that he could only find one but it was really dirty and stained. After two nights of this we decided to move her to a different hotel but unfortunately she had paid for two more nights. She explained her concerns to the front desk and that she wanted to get a refund for her remaining nights and discount on the first nights considering it was unpleasant and all they gave her was some generic email for the manager. My sister kept calling the front desk and finally got a hold of the manager and got her refund but this took hours of calling over and over. The manager was unapologetic and had no intentions of fixing any of the issues she reported. Do NOT stay at this disgusting hotel! If I could give negative circles I would.
