The hotel enjoys a peaceful location in the countryside, with a creek running by the property. All rooms have wood floors,and private bathroom. Rooms come with a free use of the wellness, fitness area including trampolite, table tennis football field. Rich country breakfast, Wi-Fi, LCD TV, clear products, bathrobe is included in the room price too. For direction: go along 6,5 km from the center of Gheorgheni toward Red Lake (Lacu Rosu) on road 12C take left to the street Paraul Cianod. Front desk 24 hours a day. They organize climbing, skiing, fishing and horseback riding quad and snowmotor rent, bear safari. The Red Lake and Bicaz Canyon is at a distance of 15 km. Upon request and at an extra charge, hotel provides airport pick-up service with its mini bus.
A Nice House
Reviewed By Alexandru CLocation - in the forest, on the foot of the mountains, silence, all green, a little river, good sights nearby. 30-40 minutes with the car till the Red Lake (20 km), 5 minutes from the main road. Rooms are ok, small and clean, view from the room - trees, nothing special. We were 2 adults + 1 child and they gave us a small room with a small bed. Bar/Restaurant - small, 3 tables, in the morning if the house is full, no place to eat. Food - breakfast included - nothing special, eggs, sausages, yogurt, in other places much better - with traditional or special food. Dinner - very expensive and nothing special, homemade food, traditional goulash, schnitzel, soups, sarmale. I don't understand why they put twice prices like in nearby restaurants. Bad palinka and afinata, warm wine and drinks. Very disturbing - a dog near the entrance that barks all-day. The first night we cannot asleep till 23-24 until they took him somewhere. In the afternoon also you cannot sleep/stay or walk on the territory of this house, in silence, because of that dog. Good Wi-Fi, no GSM signal.

Rude owners
Reviewed By Alina NWe had a family emergency and we booked this villa . we liked the terrace and de quitness. The room was dirty with dust and hair especially in the bathroom and a very bed smell in the bathhrom. There is no toalletries, no slippers. in the wordrobe we have found some dirty slippers from the previous guests. the bed linen is terrible, The mattress really bed. We had no choise for Gheorgheni., but for sure it was the last time. What really surprise me was the owners attitude especially the owner's son. Very rude and unpolite. Stay there if you want but i didn' t recomend at all. Very expensive for what it offers!

massive wood furniture
Reviewed By Sza_beeI really liked the idea of using massive wood furniture inside and outside. A bit hard on your back, but very nice as design. Near the terrace there is a small yard where kids can have fun. A small creek flows nearby, cooling the hot air. Ideal place for rest or stay. Food is really tasty and well served. Has the chance to taste some locally made components which brought back memories from my childhood at grandma's place. We took the extra qty with us as we could not eat all. Place has a big parking outside so no worries about the vehicles.

Good, nice place
Reviewed By Călin PShort stay at Varpatak Villa, only for two nights. Small but nice, tidy and clean room equipped with a bathroom of it's own. The construction is made entirely of wood, which we liked a lot. The villa makes a great place to spend a longer weekend. It is located in the proximity of the Gheorgheni town (1,5 km to the north-east), on a small hill with a lot of fir trees and beautiful nature around it. The pension has a big yard with a small river and it is equipped with a barbecue place, with playgrounds for kids and with a quite big parking area (~10 cars). The breakfast was truly generous and the host provided us with home-made jams and teas, which we really liked.

Reviewed By Vágó LEgész évben ajánlom azok számára akik szeretnék a környéket bejárni. A szállás nem drága, de tiszta rendezett, a tulajdonosok nagyon segítőkészek. Bátrán kérdezzetek! Az étkezést mindenkinek önállóan kell megoldani, de ez nem nehéz hiszen jól felszerelt konyhája van minden háznak.

it is not a vila
Reviewed By Mihai Dunfortunatelly, it wasn't the best pick in the area. no restaurant, no posibility of buying something in the vila. the downhill to the parking spot was so "broke" we thought we will not be able to exit from there in the morning.
