Great for families with many amenities; outdoor pool, indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna, fitness room and property wide complimentary internet. Children's indoor play park and outdoor playground. Complimentary coffee. Great Egg Harbor location walking distance to Door County shops, restaurants and attractions.

Reviewed By gypsylooWe stayed in a premium spa suite (second floor) in April. There was road construction right outside but, thankfully they didn’t work on the weekend. No problem with access to hotel. We loved the gas fireplace in the living room. We used it every day. The kitchen is modern/well appointed. It has everything you need but food. The mattresses were premium quality/comfy. There were plenty of blankets and soft pillows. The bed linens were also soft. There’s no ceiling fan in the MBR. There is one in the second bedroom but it only operated on slow speed. The whirlpool tub was IN the MBR bath tub. I couldn’t get into it because it was too high for my old knees. The towels are soft and oversized. There’s also one black washcloth in the bathroom for additional makeup removal. Both bathrooms have hair dryers, pull out makeup mirrors, the usual toiletries plus disposable makeup removal wipes. Didn’t use the AC, indoor pool or hot tub. There’s a no contact linen exchange service. No one comes into your unit. Free coffee/cocoa are offered 24 hours a day by front desk. Moderate (sometimes high) kid noise. It’s a comfy, gently used yet clean and well maintained hotel. Already booked a return trip.

Wonderful Weekend Retreat
Reviewed By slainteccWe have stayed here twice. The first time in Tamarack and this time in Cedar. Both visits were relaxing despite cold, snowy weather. Both units we stayed in had kitchenettes, which worked out well for us given I enjoy cooking. The staff were friendly and accommodating. My only complaints were that the 4-cup coffee maker is just wretched and I brought my own the 2nd time. The other issue is that I wish the kitchenette had a few more cooking utensils. We intend to make another visit in the fall. Thank you.

Can't say enough about how the rooms are squeaky clean, front desk people are accommodating and professional plus the hotel's location is close to everything.

Lodge is in a meadow on 6+acres at the Welcome to Sister Bay sign. Clean, friendly, well appointed, we offer fine accommodations at a reasonable cost, year round... Located minutes from beaches, state parks, biking, hiking, golf as well as the art, music and theater of Door County. Visit orchards, farm markets, wineries, or hang out at the pool or near the fireplace. We have added a Fitness Center for workouts which has an infrared sauna for muscle recovery.

Reviewed By pennym71We drove to Sister Bay without a reservation and stopped at Open Hearth on a friend's recommendation. It did not disappoint! Just our luck, there was one room left! Very affordable, clean, staff was very accommodating and friendly. Outdoor fire in the evening we could see from our room. Didn't get a chance to enjoy it outside as the chairs were always full. Breakfast was typical continental but plenty to choose from to start the day! Will definitely go back.

Choose Julie's Park Motel as your home base on your Door County vacation. The motel is located at the entrance to Peninsula State Park, right in Fish Creek. Julie's Park Motel has completely rebuilt the motel during the winter of 2016. The only room that was not touched was our café suite that was remodeled in 2014 and is above the café.

The rooms were clean and had all basic necessities. We were on the first floor near the stairs, so it got a little noisy in the early morning, but otherwise no complaints! The best part was being just a few steps away from Julie's Cafe. A must for breakfast! The food was delicious and we got the largest piece of carrot cake I had ever seen! We went both days during our stay and it was just what we needed!

The Chanticleer Guest House is located on 80 private acres, just north of Sturgeon Bay, WI. We offer 8 bed and breakfast suites, as well as 4 luxury cabins, for rent through out the year. Our in-ground heated pool is open from Memorial Day until Labor Day. All of our accommodations offer double whirlpool tubs, fire places, private bathrooms with showers and a delicious, homemade breakfast delivered to your room each morning. First trip to Door County
Reviewed By Jan HWonderful motel, very quiet and relaxing. Well-kept and pet friendly. Has both an indoor and outdoor pool and a very nice indoor hot tub. We pulled in later than expected, tired and hungry. The gal in the office helped us by showing us the vending area where we could buy a pizza and told us about some of the restaurants and things to do in the area. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome. This motel is convenient for a base while seeing the area. We will be back!

Reviewed By DarcyBeth10We went for the largest room, which has plenty of space. It's a quick walk to restaurants, or there's a food truck on the premises too. The steel bridge is within walking distance, and the Holiday Music Motel is an excellent place to make your base for day trips up into the Door County peninsula, such as Peninsula State Park, Baileys Harbor and the Cana Island Lighthouse, and of course the Sturgeon Bay attractions. The innkeepers have put so much thought into the amenities -- there are even clips to hold the drapes shut for complete darkness if you desire. And the music memorabilia around the motel is fascinating. You can bring your own food and eat at the vintage dining counter, using the motel's homey real dishes and glasses.
