The 10 best hotels in Calistoga, United States

June 26, 2022 Major Galusha

Here’s your day in Calistoga: Yoga. Massage. Spa lunch. Hike. Wine-tasting. Facial. Mud bath. Gourmet dinner (with more wine). Dip in a mineral pool. Does it get more relaxing than a spa town built around natural springs in the middle of wine country? We don't think so.

Fantastic Stay in Calistoga

Reviewed By HillaryE19

Our 14-person family group stayed here for my 50th birthday weekend and couldn’t have been happier. Rooms were clean and stocked with coffee, wine tools (and fridge!), and robes to wear down to the fabulous mineral pool/spa and steam room. We walked across the street to the Fleetwood for a big group dinner. Lincoln Avenue shops/restaurants are so close by, as are many of our favorite wineries (just a short drive away). Staff was super friendly and helpful, hot beverages in the lobby were an added bonus. The adirondack chairs in the courtyard are a perfect spot to relax. We’ll be back!

Great accommodations close to the center of town, tranquil and charming

Reviewed By Dimitrivaz

We needed a place to put up eight Families attending our daughter's wedding in Calistoga. The Bergson, although on a busy road, provided a tranquil setting for us to gather every morning for breakfast, a central location to head out for various events, and very comfortable rooms, all air-conditioned. Even though it is on a busy road, the rooms were very quiet. It is only four blocks from the Main Street of Calistoga (very easy short walk). The hotel is not super elegant, but very charming, and most of the rooms have a generous seating area that is comfortable to hang out and have a glass of wine. Great staff at the front desk, that keeps the varied breakfast offerings well stocked, and was very eager to help in any way they could. The Bergson was the perfect place for our party. That the hotel had a destination charger was an extra benefit.

Macy in the concierge did an amazing job curating our itinerary to wineries and restaurants. The staff was very friendly. can't wait to return

Kurt and Steve are amazing hosts! We are return visitors and it feels more like being warmly welcomed as guests in someone’s home rather than a typical corporate and impersonal hotel experience. Pool and spa are warm, rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. From the moment we set foot on the grounds to the moment we leave, it’s nothing but pure relaxation. We made plans to return before even leaving!
