Decent hotel with a good outdoor pool

Reviewed By Jules-and-Lloyd

Decent sized room and bathroom. Rooms were clean. The hotel serves a decent buffet with additional hot options on request. They have good sized indoor and outdoor pools (the outdoor one was a little cold in late May but I'm sure it warms up given the heat in Bukhara).

Absolute treat to stay here

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Bukhara. The hotel is a magical treat, with the rooms decorated in the traditional style of the region and set around a courtyard. We arrived late in the evening, and were warmly welcomed with a pot of delicious lemon tea. Our rooms were sparkling clean and the bathrooms were large with plenty of linen provided. The breakfast room was beautifully decorated and furnished and breakfast was very good, so much to choose from. I would most definitely stay here again if I'm every lucky enough to return to Bukhara.

Could be better

Hotel is located very closed to the historical centre of Bukhara. The location is perfect and it is easy to rich historical buildings by foot. Rooms are very spacious. But the floor was very dirty. Overall cleanness of the room was poor. Breakfasts were frugal, same products and dishes were served every day. It was boring to see same products every day. There were no flakes with milk, witch was very important to our children. Swimming pool is too deep. You cannot rich the bottom and it is very uncomfortable and even dangerous when you are with children. Outdoor event and showers were not ready for use. Where were no toilet paper, sink was leaking. All in all, it is ok to stay for a couple of nights because of a great location. But you should look for somethings else if you considering a longer stay.

Kukaldosh Boutique Hotel

The hotel is situated in the historical center of the city - oasis. As well as all medieval buildings, the composition of this building was planed around miniature narrow courtyard. Its architecture is inspired by the forms and motives of traditional old Bukhara houses where a mysterious beauty and rich ornamental decoration exposing in apartment houses is hidden for the outer asceticism of a street, wattle and daub frontage. Owing to the space of this narrow courtyard there is a favorable silence and cold which is necessary for wayfarers after a long travel.

Good experience

Reviewed By Mario A

We spend two nights in this hotel. It is not luxurious but clean and cosy. Breakfast is good and there are plenty of good places around to have dinner in Bahouddin Naqshbandi street, and it is walking distance to all tourist sites, and you have the Asia hotel in front with a swiming pool that you may use paying a small fee. But what makes the difference in this hotel is his manager Aziz and his assistant, very gentle and who will get anything you ask if it is possible. Aziz took us around his city to show us the not so touristic but picturesque places in the center, gave us directions to visit other places and got us taxis to travel to Khiva. We strongly recommend it.

Fantastic location, just steps away from the Kalon Mosque and Minaret. Spotless rooms, comfortable beds, nice showers with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. Owners were incredibly helpful with arranging transportation at a fair rate from the airport and to the train station. Highly recommended!

Nice Boutique hotel with a traditional look and feel with big rooms, ultra modern bathrooms and very clean. The breakfast is well laid out in buffet style with a lot of options for vegetarians. Wi-Fi is available through out the Hotel. Safe is available in the room. There is also a nice terrace to sit out at night and relax. The staff are friendly and helpful, The location is slightly away (a very short walk) from the oasis where all the action happens. Definitely a hotel to get a rustic experience (in looks not in amenities).

Great location on lively Lyabi-Hauz

Reviewed By grenouille5

Room is clean and cozy, could have more plugs to charge phones and laptop. The location is perfect, Lyabi Hauz is a scenic square shaded by mulberry trees. The small pool is the last one remaining in Buchara, There are lots of shops, a restaurant right on the pool and an old former madrassa make this a very scenic place. Breakfast is plenty and diverse. People at reception speak Englisch well.
