Ubicado en el centro de un destino turístico lleno con pueblos mágicos para visitar, museos antropológico y de cultura colonial y republicana, el Lago de Tota, el más extenso de Colombia y el segundo en América del Sur, artesanías, tejidos en lana y muchas mas actividades para visitar y disfrutar.

Reviewed By Crecay2The hotel, for me, is one of the top hotels in Boyaca. The place is nice, pretty grounds, lots of green all around. The two room suits are just perfect to relax, listen to music or entertain. the fireplace, which is cleaned and filled with wood everyday, makes for warm and romantic evenings. The restaurant is excellent with a good selection of dishes. But the best part of this hotel is the staff. They are the friendliest and more cooperative staff of any hotel staff I've ever encountered in Colombia, the US or Europe. The place is a winner.

Birthday celebration at lunch
Reviewed By mdlt314Traveled in the area and stopped at Refugio Pozo Azul following a friend’s recommendation. What a beautiful location! The view of the lake and surrounding mountains is breathtaking!! Sadly, our celebration was a bit of a disappointment as the food was not at all what we expected. The trout dishes were very good but the rest of the meal which included cream of mushrooms and Filet Mignon were mediocre at best.

A hidden gem to refresh and refocus body, mind and spirit
Reviewed By 169mhIn November 2020, in midst of the global pandemy, shortly after Colombia reopened its borders to the world and re-established international air connections, I spent five days in the Finca El Sandalo. I wholeheartedly enjoyed this experience. The Finca is located in a remote and little developed, but extremely fertile area in the eastern slopes of the Andes. The landscape is a mosaic of small forests, small scale agriculture and a cattle farms, dotted with little villages or dispersed individual settlements. Cloud forests prevail at higher altitudes, rivers and cascades run through valley bottoms. My hosts Adriana and Chabita immediately attended to each of my questions or requests. I joined daily yoga and meditation practice in the early mornings with Adriana, and received a thai yoga massage. We explored the beautiful garden and its surroundings to discuss and search medicinal plant species. As the only guest at the time, I even had the privilege to be invited to delicious, healthy, and typical meals and refreshments, to share many joyful moments, and to immediately become a member of the family. Throughout my stay, my simple but comfortable "cabana" was always kept tidy and clean, local natural products were used not only in meals and refreshments, but even provided for soap and shampoo (I had no clue that shampoos can be made with earth and clay - a unique insight!). Despite its remoteness, wifi was better than at home, in the hinterlands of the Swiss canton of Geneva. I left this little ecological paradise with a well-stretched and unusually agile body, and a mind enriched by new impressions and perspectives. The spirit that Adriana and Chabita give to the Finca is relaxed and tranquil, but also supports creative thinking and concentrated, productive work. I would have loved to stay longer and to explore more of the beautiful and diverse surrounding landscape. Even the dogs did not want to let me go!! I recommend the Finca El Sandalo to anyone interested in exploring this remote, friendly and beautiful corner of Colombia, or to anyone interested in alternative, holistic, healthy, and ecological lifestyles.

Reviewed By kdsantamariaEl hotel presenta unas lindas y cómodas instalaciones. Su ubicación es excelente porque queda a tan sólo 7 minutos apróximadamente de Villa de Leyva, sin embargo sin la multitud de personas de ésta (especialmente en tiempos de pandemia). La habitación seleccionada tenía jacuzzi con hidromasaje, lo cual lo hacía más atractivo y generó una estancia más comoda. El desayuno es fantástico y se encuentra incluído en el costo de la habitación; además se puede tomar en una barra con vista a los campos. Lo mejor de todo, es que son Pet friendly y pude llevar mi mascota sin ningún inconveniente. Lo único por mejorar es que usualmente antes de usar el jacuzzi con hidromasaje debe informarse, sin embargo a veces pueden tardar un poco en encenderlo. Sin duda, volvería a este hotel!

Reviewed By Carlos99999Pasamos unos días deliciosos en familia. El lugar idóneo para descansar y desconectar del mundo en un paraje bellísimo disfrutando de paz y tranquilidad que la finca ofrece. La casa esta exquisitamente decorada, tiene todos los servicios que uno necesita. Tienen ofertas de actividades para disfrutar del lugar y vivirlo completo. En definitiva uno sale con energías renovadas, volveré siempre que pueda sin duda.

Su ubicación es estratégica pues se encuentra en el centro del municipio lo que permite el fácil desplazamiento a cualquier lugar. Lo recomiendo

No era lo que esperaba
Reviewed By Samanta CSiendo objetivos es el mejor pueblo de belén, pero vamos a ver que belen es un pueblo super pequeñito, el hotel aún esta ne construcción, no dispone de desayuno ni de restaurante en general, la habitación no era la más grande pero tampoco estaba mal, el baño me pareció bonito, salvo por unos cables visibles a la vista, toda la alimentación fue por fuera porque como dije no tienen restaurante, la cama no era muy grande, tenia grandes expectativas para las fotos que vi, pues al hotel siento que le falta decoración y detalles, sin embargo es económico y no es precisamente incomodo, en si en el pueblo no encuentras nada para hacer además de comer, pero si es un lugar como para alejarse de todo, pensar, tranquilizarse. a lo otro es que nos dijeron qeu el pueblo era frio y todo el tiempo estuvimos sobre los 31°c y no había aire acondicionado tampoco
