Nice place to spent a weekend
Reviewed By RUNSCLUIt's a quite good hotel well located near the Semois. They managed to keep an historical atmosphere without being oldish. The Personnel is smiling and professional, especially at the restaurant. The gastronomic restaurant has a limited but qualitative menu. Taste, presentation and quantity guaranteed. The breakfast is large and extremely various. 2 little things to mention however: the lack of air-conditioning made the room quite hot under this Easter sun and the TV broadcasting was often interrupted making it difficult to follow any program. Nice place to spent a weekend.

Excellent restaurant!
Reviewed By rgeyer241346unfortunately the hotel was booked out and we had to overnight elsewhere but we were lucky enough to get a reservation at their restaruant which was just lovely. They offered a fixed menu which was priced very resonably considering the excellent quality of food. After dinner we were asked if we would like to eat our dessert on the outdoor terrace with a view of the Castle of Bouillon. The view of the lit up castle was stunning and it was a perfect end to a perfect meal. If I am ever in the area again I will defintiely go back.

Ancienne maison de maître du 19ième siècle entierement rénové. Une superbe vue sur le château et la ville de Bouillon. une annexe avec un centre bien être, jacuzzi, 2 saunas, hammam et soins. Un restaurant gastronomique avec une carte qui varie au fil des saisons. Une petite salle de réunion de 15 pers. Terrasse avec vue sur Bouillon.
Cozy hotel with great views
Reviewed By Erik DA little up the hillside is the cozy Hotel La Ferronniére. A nice villa, which has been converted into a hotel. The site has been expanded with a wellness center and suites in an annex. We visited the place for an extended weekend. 3 nights with breakfast and dinners, of which 1 dinner as gourmet. The rooms are very stylishly decorated. 2 of the rooms have a balcony overlooking the city. The hotel has a nice terrace with the same good views. The food is excellent and significantly better than you can otherwise get in Bouillon. However, it does not reach the Bib Gourmet level that the hotel was otherwise awarded in 2020. The restaurant suffers from a significant flaw. The kitchen can not keep up when fully occupied, resulting in long waits between dishes. We thus had to wait 45 min between second dish and the main course.

Reviewed By Marc_KarinHotel was average, but standard for a hotel in a small town in that area. Small rooms, tiny bathroom. But they have a good italian restaurant in the building, and breakfast was also very good. Located in the very centre of the town, so perfect to visit the town and its surroundings.

Good food, clean room, dogs friendly hotel
Reviewed By SarahPlovierLast week we went to this nice family hotel with 16 rooms. They received us very well: the owner is cooking and his flemish wife and his daughter serve the food and clean the rooms. Also our medium sized dog was very welcome: they reserved us a table in the corner to be at ease. We had a renovated room with rain shower, basic but clean. Breakfast was served at the table, but if we wanted more bread, we just had to ask (although it was enough and we never ordered more), yoghurt and fruit can be taken from a mini-refrigerator. Diners was great, classic dishes with great taste (4 courses). At noon you can eat a snack or there is also full board (3 courses for lunch). Outside there is a swimming pool, but we didn't use it because of the dog. From the village you can make big walks our go to surrounding villages or to the city of Bouillon. Very recommended hotel!

Classic, clean and ideal for short trip
Reviewed By MrGV79This hotel managed to organise accommodation for 11 of us. They were very friendly and helpful. There was motorcycle parking right by the hotel's door, not secured but it is very unlikely to have any security issues in the area. We were a big group riding on the amazing roads of Bouillon and surrounding areas and it was good to know we had easy parking and a place to rest at the end of the day. The only thing I did not like is that the hotel has an indoors smoking area. Not ideal for non smokers. This is not a modern hotel but it has all the usual facilities and it is clean. The breakfast is substantial and filling. The coffee is just NOT GOOD - and that is for the whole of Belgium and France. Although the members of staff did not speak very good English, they were very friendly and helpful.

Reviewed By marianapdHad a good night's rest. The rooms were adequate, Wifi was good, and TVs very small. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was good. Had a drink on the patio, served to us promptly with a smile.

Reviewed By T_jarvis_uk1978Lovely hotel built in the cliffs with amazing views of the castle and river. Great rooms and nice breakfast friendly staff we even had a jacuzzi bath in our room this was well needed. Would definitely stay again
