Superb accomodation
Reviewed By Moma JGreat hospitality, spent 15 nights there for quarantine and everything was good from food, bed, toilets. Everything was clean and comfy, perfect for a short getaway. Was sent food every few hours too during the quarantine! The food was so-so but overall it was a truly amazing experience.

Reviewed By Moma JHad a seminar there few years back. It's somewhat a dated hotel, I presume aging 20+ years and it's reasonable that the accomodation was so-so. But I have to give credits for the nice scenery and also nice hospitality provided by the staff

Spacious, fairly priced - I'd stay again
Reviewed By OliveGohVery spacious one bedroom apartment. They obliged my request for high floor with sea view which was very nice. Comfy bed. Strong air conditioning in the bedroom and living area. Good water pressure with hot water supply for shower and sink in the bathroom. Furnishings are a little dated and sparse. Kitchenette feels a bit grimy and the sink's water pressure was poor. It's not well equipped, perhaps for long stay where you really use it supplies can be requested. Due to Covid, breakfast was lunchbox style placed outside the room. It was horrible! We only had it the first morning, subsequent days we told them not to bother. Location is good if you have your own car, otherwise it's got nothing nearby for food and supplies. Photos show double pillows but it's actually one measly pillow per person. Upon request they only give 1 extra (don't understand why so stingy). Bedroom has blackout curtains but the bathroom door is frosted glass which lets light in. If you like to sleep in a darkened room, this will irritate the hell out of you as it did me! For the price of RM125 per night, it is extremely good.

Reviewed By zoefiedI was quite sceptical initially because talking about location, not that strategic. Needs to take Grab to go the Spring Shopping Mall. However, I was surprised. The room was quite cosy. I had good night sleep with the considerably comfortable bedding & pillows. Bring your own toiletries. The hotel is quite generous with the coffee, tea sachets & drinking waters. I think the best part is the breakfast buffet spread. It took me by surprise. Considerably generous choices.

The most unpleasant dining experience
Reviewed By leechongenHad our company annual dinner at the rooftop event hall at GoldenBay Hotel last weekend. Ambience and view were great but the quality and the quantity of the food served was appaling. The fish and prawn were not fresh, probably why it was served deep fried. For a table of 5 adults, we were served 5 tiny prawns and 5 fish fingers. Everyone went home hungry. An extremely unpleasant occasion. I would not recommend this venue for any future events.

Reviewed By sp3ak_christexpensive when the whole experience was uncomfortable although staff did put in effort to come to our rooms, nothing was resolved old room #250 air-conditioning only produced air (not cool) & had an awful smell, new room #249 had no windows nor could a/con settings be controlled - to turn off the a/con means having no power in the whole room room #229 has disturbance - noise cause by food court downstairs/outside only room #233 had a great view & was good AVOID staying at New Wing when entrance is so dodgy similar to a back alley semi-buffet - white bread, coconut jam, peanut spread, margarine, hard boiled eggs, coffee & tea were unlimited but only three (3) choices for main course hotel collects RM50/- refundable cash deposit free Wi-Fi could not open important websites e.g. outlook.com but WhatsApp (social networking mobile application) was fine

Disappointed Stay
Reviewed By johnlim74This hotel suppose to be a nice place to stay but to my surprise the condition had changed a lot maybe because of after MCO pandemic. The room is not well clean and had a foul smell. Not much maintenance was done.. but their breakfast still does not let you down.

Not so pleasant stay
Reviewed By zoefiedI checked in quite late at night so looking forward to a good night sleep. However, the mattress was quite hard. For a king size bed, there were only 2 pillows. Was tossing & turning whole night. Passed midnight, suddenly there was a fire alarm. I concurred a ‘false’ alarm as it went silent after that. The Aircon was cooling enough too. The next day, I spotted what looked like a stain of blood on the duvet. Plus points are the generous quantities of drinking water and coffee & tea sachets. Power points are located by bedside too.

Amazing Stay in Bintulu
Reviewed By farahi334What can I say, this hotel exerts my expectation. It is spacious, clean, very hospitable and value for money. Our family arrive quite late to the hotel after after having our dinner. To be welcome so warmly after a tiring day of travelling is indeed a plus. Check in was fast and non hassle. Room was seriously big and the warm pressurized shower was amazing. If I had 1 complain it would be the bed is a bit hard for my liking but that would be it. Breakfast was also good, quite surprise that they even provide premium grade sausages. Not those thin ones. Kuddos! Paddy Cafe House,please keep it up. I will definely recommend for anyone to stay here and we will definitely make this hotel our go to should we be in Bintulu.
