Disappointed

Reviewed By Coastal25598680889

We were expecting this travel for 2 years, postponed twice due to covid as borders closed ( we are coming from France) and unfortunately we are disappointed by the upper canopy choice. The upper canopy description does not fit to reality, the view is not the one expected. The view from the balcony, the living room and the main bed room is not on Forrest but on the main building and as the main building is under refurbishment so on materials. We have also to mention that all the accommodations we've booked for 2020 and 2021 had accepted to refund the payment due to covid except the cabins.

We love the Bayshore Waterfront Inn. This is the second time we stayed; we were in a 1 bedroom suite. It is so spacious plus clean and quiet and the location overlooking the small craft harbor is great. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment and there is a bbq on the balcony. The bathroom is huge and the tub is so big you can lie down in it! The added plus is that the owners Teo and George are really friendly and helpful.

Good Option for Expensive Market

Reviewed By Cindy D

We have been trying to get to the west coast for some time and I found this property on line. The rate was quite a bit lower than most hotels in the area but I wanted to go so we took a chance and booked it. Don't let the exterior turn you off as the room was very clean and very large. We had a very comfortable night and the room was equipped with fridge, coffee maker and lots of towels. The location is great we walked to the Wild Pacific Trail and be right in the town you have access to all the shops and restaurants. We would stay there again as it is a great option when the sky high prices of the resort hotels tend to keep us away.

Lovely setting and very impressed with room

Reviewed By Helen W

Stayed in one of the one bedroom suites with sofa bed. A good option as no twin rooms at a lot of accomodations in area. Huge apartment with living room and dining area as well as the best equipped kitchen I've ever seen in a holiday place. Also a lovely view from balcony over inlet even in rain and liked the way you could access bathroom from main living area and bedroom. It is a 25 mins walk to town but this makes it a peaceful area and even though a fair number of suites it doesn't matter as the way suites are arranged you don't see other balconies. Korean restaurant on site is also good with nice views ( see separate review). We were only there 2 nights but could easily have stayed a week in this amazing suite.

Romantic, private rainforest stay with great breakfast & jacuzzi

Reviewed By LovelyTraveller2022

This suite was ideal for a romantic getaway. We loved the quiet location, which is still close to the town of Ucluelet. The free breakfast was outstanding - it arrived in little baskets at our door, fresh, home cooked and included locally roasted coffee. We were 5 minutes walk from Majestic Kayak Tours (which I also highly recommend!) so it's perfect if you plan to do some kayaking. The bed was super comfortable. The fire in the room is safe and makes it very cosy, with generous materials provided. The jacuzzi was big with powerful jets and the toiletries and robes provided were a nice touch. Thank you Kevin for giving us our privacy, delicious breakfast (at short notice!) and a wonderful stay at Hyphocus Inn. We will be back!

Pluvio rooms

Our boutique hotel is located in the heart of the village of Ucluelet, behind the restaurant and beside our backyard kitchen garden. With a great central location and garden views, our rooms are perfectly situated to explore Ucluelet, the Wild Pacific Trail, Pacific Rim National Park and Tofino. Opened in July 2019 and built with the utmost care and attention, our boutique hotel rooms are spacious, at just over 400sq ft, and comfortable. With just four rooms, we offer a personal and intimate West Coast experience where we invite you to come for dinner, spend the night, and enjoy breakfast on us. Breakfast is delivered each morning before you wake up, and can be found in a chilled cooler outside your door, to be enjoyed in your cozy armchairs in front of the window or out on the deck beside the garden. All house made and prepared fresh for you, our breakfast includes baked goods, granola, fruit, yoghurt, cheese and juice, and is entirely gluten free. You will find Foggy Bean coffee (roasted right here in Ucluelet) for your Le Creuset french press and Tea Leaves luxury tea in your room, with milk and cream in your refrigerator. Rooms are furnished in coastal tones of greys and greens, with some fun features and unique design elements. We were lucky enough to work with some amazing artists, so you might find a moss art piece by Heather March, a canvas photograph by Isaac Shaw or a textile weaving by Diane Rudge in your room. Furniture was mostly made by Chad Miles in Port Alberni and the care and craftmanship is evident in his work. Each room features a king size bed, walk in rainforest shower, air conditioning, cable tv, wifi, tea + coffee making facilities and a private balcony. On our kitchen garden level, the two rooms are accessible via a ramp, with one room fully wheelchair accessible with a roll in shower and suitable bathroom fixtures. These rooms look out over some beautiful Japanese maples and fruit trees, towards the tall cedar and hemlock trees at the back of our property. Our two rooftop garden level rooms take you up a flight of stairs past our rooftop kitchen garden, where we grow herbs and flowers for use in the restaurant, and look in the same direction as the rooms below. Being in the village centre there is some hustle and bustle around us, and our neighbours can sometimes get a bit rowdy, but each room is well insulated and remains a quiet oasis in the centre of town. Our rooms are designed to comfortably accommodate two adults. Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate groups of three or four guests in one room, so if travelling in a larger group, please be sure to reserve the correct number of rooms. Our rooms are available for adults and children over 12. If travelling to the area as a family and wishing to join us for dinner, we are happy to welcome younger children in the restaurant who will enjoy our full dining experience. We offer pet friendly accommodation in our kitchen garden level rooms so your furry friend can enjoy a visit to the West Coast with you. Pet rooms must be confirmed in advance, so if you are thinking of making a reservation for you and your pet (or bringing your dog, cat or parrot with you for an existing reservation), please call us to confirm. For the comfort of all guests we do not allow pets into our other guest rooms, so should you arrive with an unexpected friend and our pet room is not available, they will have to find themselves alternative accommodation!

Above and beyond in absolutely every way

My husband and I were treated like absolute royalty at Pluvio to celebrate our anniversary. We were booked into the "tree" room and it was SO adorable! Great amenities, good size, loved the balcony and the fresh coffee and local tea were delicious. Lily & Chef Warren went above and beyond to accommodate us for dinner and it was even more magnificent than I imagined. Definitely do yourself a favour and book dinner and a night here. Ucluelet is a bit sleepier than Tofino (at least when I was here), but this location was very central and walkable to some fun areas and beaches.
