Reviewed By marti jThis hotel and restaurant is located on a top location but they do not manage it well. We only went to the restsurant on the top floor . We had a lunch a la carte. Pizzas this time. The pizza sepia was good but the pizza jamon was average. The staff is acting like amateurs, no customer focus or feeling. A shame for such a nice place.

A RIP-OFF
Reviewed By Anne SThese bungalows are located along the road between Bahia Inglesa and Caldera, on the Ruta del Desierto. You need a car to go to the beach. This place is really overpriced for the confort it offers.... Bungalows are not solid constructions. There is no sound and heat insulation. It was freezing cold during nights and we can imagine how hot it will be during summer time.... You can listen to any noise from outside. Lucky us, we did not have any neighbours ! Bungalows are set like a camp and are very close to each others.When you walk inside, walls are vitrating. Floors are ice cold. It was clean but very poorly furnished : broken closets, no furniture in the small bathroom, only one night table for 2 bedrooms.... Beds were confortables but no additional blankets. We paid 380 USD for 2 nights (a couple with 2 children) and the breakfast was not included. We agreed to pay it as extra but it was not possible to have breakfast in the restaurant during this weekend.... No smile, no attention.

Nice room but expensive and youth hostel breakfast

However sometimes you judge according to price and as we were desperate to stay in Bahia Inglesa we paid nearly £100! So much more than in other places. More than twice what we usually paid. If we had known we would have gone to stay in Caldera which is really nice and a cheap taxi ride away.. . Also the owner would not waive the 19% IVA which hoteliers can do if they do the. The room was nice and in boutique style so that was pleasing. The owner was offhand with us -probably as we were older (not much older than him !) When it came to breakfast next morning he did not explain how it was fixed or bother to get on his feet and show us. So we found an open air kitchen area and groped around and other guests told us how to locate bread,little boxes of ham and cheese and heat our own water on the gas and then wash up. Not dirty really but nowhere to sit and a bit icky. As someone who has travelled around the world when young I have no quarrel with laid back but this should be in a cheap places. At nearly £100 I expect much much more. Perhaps prices dive in low season and match what is offered.

Good hotel
Reviewed By SelmaFerThe service is the highlight in this hotel. Gloria and her team made everything for us to feel good. Good location and clean. Breakfast is very very poor for the price we've paid: no fruits, no fresh juice, instant coffee, butter, milk, toasts and slices of ham and cheese. The portions are counted by person in the room: one slice of cake, two slices of bread and 1 slice of cheese and ham. I had better breakfasts in hostels.... Beds are also very bad, mattresses, sinked in the middle and too softy.

Reviewed By ricardosrojasCabañas muy bien ubicadas a pasos de la playa, bien equipadas con todo lo necesario para tener una grata estadía. Lo único malo es que no siempre estaban disponibles en la recepción, se nos cayó la TV por cable y no tuvimos a quien solicitar ayuda, además de tener que realizar el check out sin recibir la boleta.

A slice of paradise
Reviewed By DidgesteveThis was a beautiful location with lovingly hand crafted cabanas on the edge of the desert looking out to the sea. The accommodation is simple and comfortable. Real thought and creativity has gone into creating these dwellings. The master bedroom and terrace face to the sea. There is bbq and shaded beach table. The kitchen is small but with everything you need. The shower is hot and the beds are comfortable. It was immaculately clean. Being on the edge of the desert you realise how important water is and the waste is used to water the small gardens. A little Oasis. The owners were welcoming and have clearly spent many years making this a tranquil place to stay. Beware of imitations. There are lots of new cabanas springing up on other parts of the beach, but this one is the real deal an ecofriendly, low impact slice of paradise.

Reviewed By Joaquin ZAgradable lugar para alojar a metros de la playa, mucha tranquilidad y cercanía a lugares turísticos. La atención de sus dueños y personal es excelente, muy amables y atentos. Los desayunos a la habitación dan la energía necesaria para un día lleno de aventuras y sus pizzas son excelentes para recuperarse al final del día. Totalmente recomendable tanto para parejas como gente sola que quiera desconectarse y disfrutar de la magia del desierto.
