Reviewed By johnpereira2020Great Value. The only thing that could be improved is the air conditioning in the upper hallways. But then the rates might be more than double! Not a problem. Breakfast was up to par with more expensive hotels in Manaus. Staff is friendly. Location was great for us.

At the ibis budget Manaus, we offer a quality product at a fair price. We are located on one of the main avenues, near to three large shopping centers, the Arena da Amazônia and two convention centers (Vasco Vasques and Sambadrome). The hotel is 6.8 miles (11 km) from the airport, 2.5 miles (4 km) from the city center and offers rooms for up to three people with free WIFI, breakfast and a 24-hour convenience store. Last but not least, small pets are welcome too!

Reviewed By Boarding_gate123My husband and I stayed at Ibis Budget Manaus for one night in January 2020 after an Amazon cruise. We arrived very early in the morning after disembarkation. Knowing that check-in wasn't until hours later, we'd decided to add an extra night (i.e. from the night before) to our booking so as to gain immediate access to our room. At check-in, however, the receptionist waived the fee for the full night and instead told us they'd only be charging a much smaller early check-in fee. We were very impressed by their thoughtfulness and lack of greed. The room, albeit small, was functional and contained everything we needed for a 20 hour stay. This was, in fact, not only the cheapest, but also, by far, the cleanest hotel room we stayed in while holidaying in Brazil. The complimentary wifi was excellent and streaming Netflix worked well through the wifi. We ordered dinner through Uber Eats and got cutlery from the on-site restaurant (this necessitated the use of google translate since restaurant staff did not know what "knives and forks" meant in English.) We also stayed at another budget hotel in Manaus (Intercity Manaus), but felt that we had a better experience at Ibis. Overall, an excellent budget stay for a short duration in a fresh, modern and, above all, clean hotel.

Reviewed By Scenic817037I’ve stayed at this property three times and this will be my last. Cannt sleep due to noisy street and old uncomfortable beds. Very low service level at this “hotel”. Front desk provides minimum service - almost feels like a Flat service not a hotel. NO RESTAURANT at this “hotel”

Generally good service, Fabiola was great. Very nice ,friendly atmosphere during the weekend, with fegeoada , excellent buffets ( lunch and dinner), live music. Breakfast is fabulous

Good for overnight stop before starting/finishing an Amazon tour. Shopping centre next door (Studio 5) very basic, Porto negro centre has more choice and better quality facilities.

Ok for short stay
Reviewed By dannid8Stayed here two nights either side of jungle trip. First room was ok but certainly not as modern as pictures have you believe. Very close to Manaura Shoppibg which is a very big plaza with some good food options. Be aware that they don’t supply free water in the rooms, but it’s not to expensive either to take it from the mini bar. Reception staff were all quite nice with good English skills. Stored our luggage whilst in the jungle for two nights which was helpful. The second stay here started badly with us being assigned a room that had not been cleaned from the previous occupants, they even had Valentine’s Day ‘objects’ in the bedroom. We were moved to another room quickly enough which was a little nicer than our first stay there. Breakfast quite nice, good variety that changed from day to day with a lot of fruits cakes & cereals,but no fresh salad items like tomato, cucumber, lettuce, which makes it hard for someone who watches their sugar intake. No bacon either? Omelette & tapioca made to order which was as very nice. Pool very quiet on top floor, small but no one there anyway. Well equipped gym opens at 6am. Would prob stay again but it’s not luxury.

Reviewed By steve cArrived in the middle of the night and as the neighbourhood looks a bit dodgy we were expecting the worst! Lovely surprise - a gorgeous little boutique hotel with stone floors and wooden beams in reception. Although it was 2am there was an English speaking receptionist waiting for us. The room was lovely and so was the breakfast. I'm sorry were were not able to stay longer as the place looked really inviting. Thanks for a great night!

Reviewed By cb54321If you are looking for classic and comfortable business lodging, this is the place. We enjoyed a quick two nights in Manaus for a jungle tour. Our room was spacious and comfortable with all the amenities we are accustomed to in the U.S. The air conditioning was wonderful. The hotel restaurant is top notch. The breakfast buffet has many delicious options. We enjoyed a lovely dinner there as well with excellent service from the restaurant staff. The hotel staff were professional, helpful, and spoke great English. The hotel is in an industrial area but we were able to easily use Uber to get to our destinations. All the employees we encountered made our stay truly enjoyable.
