Clean & Convenient
Reviewed By CodFishYStayed 2 nights here. Its very clean and very convenient. Only 5-10mins walk to Feng Jia Night Market. Thrs also many food & also convenience store around. If you stay the 2 pax room is consider quite spacious and have sufficient space for you to pack ur luggage. As for 4pax room it has 2 queen bed so the space for u to pack ur luggage is quite limited if its 4 adults in the same room but if its 2 adult & 2 kids i think its quite sufficient space.They do provide basic necessities like disposable toothbrush, shampoo and etc.... I would recommend for stay here...

Reviewed By tunawhiskasStayed here for 3D2N. It is located to Feng Chia night market - which is great! There are shops and bus stops nearby which is convenient for travelers. The room and facilities inside are average - you get what you pay for. The room is generally clean, there is hot water for shower, decent WiFi in the room, the staff is friendly and helpful too. Wouldn't mind staying here again the next time I am in Taichung.

Reviewed By Karim ZFemale Staff is friendly and super nice...but thats almost it :(. The aircondition in the sleeping room is on all night and you are almost guaranteed to get a cold from that. The weather was good that day, so i don‘t know why freeze the room @@. Toilet is there and a shower in a 1 square meter concrete room. Both are seperate. When i arrived, my friend (from taiwan) called the hostel to ask about the exact location, and we were like 40 sec. Walk from there. The male staff could not explain him after 5 min. Of talking how to get there, until we figured it out by ourself. Very dissapointing.

Reviewed By WongYFLocated next to Feng Jia night market, considered very good location. The hotel facilities are average and the room is a bit small. No breakfast provided but free wifi provided. Felt that the cleanliness of the hotel room can be further improved, especially the toilet.

Budget and do not expect much
Reviewed By LeongZhiHongPros: excellent location, reasonable price, excellent online customer service (FB and via phone) and there is an air purifier ! Cons: lack of signage, horrible check in system (only can check in after 5pm), photos on website are real but just for that angle, narrow staircase and not a great choice for huge luggage traveller.

Awesome location & Helpful Staff
Reviewed By BenBelYenThis hostel is located in 1 corner of fengjia market. The famous suausage in a sausage, massaged chicken (must try - very tender!) & Overlord are merely downstairs. As this is in 1 corner, it receives absolutely no street market/ street noise so you get quiet sleep. As the name suggested, (I realised belatedly) that this is really an upgraded hostel. No front desk, cleaning of room is clearing your rubbish bin only (no making of bed or cleaning of toilets etc), no restaurant (not a problem really). I felt like the princess & a pea & can feel the spine of the bed through the mattress. Kids found ants all over - on the beds, table, etc & baby cockroaches kept appearing in the toilet (not a huge issue if you are not a clean freak). Hostel is difficult to locate as it looked nothing like 1. On the exterior, it blended perfectly with the neighbouring (home?) units with aluminium shuttles but if you look carefully, the wifi pw & contact number is written on the bottom left of the door. You'll have to call the staff who'll then give instructions on how to enter the premise for check-in. Annie met us later in the night to collect payment for our stay. She spent about 30 minutes going through the places I've shortlisted & telling us how to get to them, etc. On the 2nd night, we needed to look for the laundry shop, another staff took the trouble to walk my husband out to show him the nearest self service laundry. We were told there are also drop off laundry service where we can pick up our cleaned clothes in the afternoon. Would have used that if we found out earlier. >< All in all, a moderately clean basic accommodation in a 5-star location with 5-star staff. Would I stay again? No, if I needed a little more luxury but definitely YES, if I wanted to melt into the fengjia night market scene for a couple of nights. One last thing to note. This hostel does not have any lifts. Thankfully we brought medium luggage this round, lifting 4 pcs of 7-15kg luggage up 3 floors is still manageable, especially when the kids help along the way. Cannot imagine if we had taken along our 31" loaded luggage. Would advice to travel light & may need to avoid if you are travelling with old folks who have trouble with stairs.
