A cable car flying up through the sky from Malga Ciapela (1.450m), toward the top of Marmolada mountain, the Queen of the Dolomites. An experience you will remember for your whole life. As you arrive on Punta Rocca (3.265 m), you can enjoy a breath-taking landscape from the panorama terrace, and you can visit the cave of the Holy Mary and the photo exhibition about the construction of the cable car. Taking the two panorama lifts, you can even reach the glacier or the beginning of the Ski slope (in Winter). In Serauta (2.950 m), you can find Europe highest museum (the museum of the Great War), you can eat in our self service restaurant, you can buy a souvenir in our original souvenir shop and you can even visit the trenches, built by soldiers during the Great War (only in Summer).

I’m Stefano Demartin. I was born and raised in Northeastern, Italy and my family has had a vacation home in the Dolomites for over 60 years. Each summer of my childhood, I spent exploring every trail and backroad, climbing vie ferrate, hunting mushrooms, napping in the sun at the top of hikes of the Dolomites. Skiing, walks, via ferratas were all part of my formative years and desire to explore more never really went away. Graduating in Forestry and subsequently managing the recluse refuge Capanna Punta Penia (the heighest refuge in Dolomites, at the top of the Marmolada, the highest peak of the Dolomite) were the next natural steps.
