We had a lovely Prosecco tasting with one of the daughters. It is really nice that it is a family business and it is informal. We really liked it!

Sfriso Winery is one of our favorite wineries in Veneto! Pier is an engaging and knowledgeable host, and his passion for winemaking is evident in the quality of his wines. His Brut Sparkling Rosé is the perfect complement to a warm summer night with friends. After our most recent wine haul, my husband and I did a blind tasting of several Refosco wines, and Sfriso’s Refosco was the clear winner in both aroma and taste. If you’re looking for a memorable experience filled with delicious wines and great conversation, I highly recommend visiting Sfriso Winery.

We have come across this winery just by chance - we were in the vicinity on business and used a short break to look for a good prosecco nearby. We were impressed by friendliness of the owner Massimo, who speaks excellent English, and by the quality of his wines (especially the extra brut is wonderful, with nice minerality, good structure and very delicate bubbles)

Very friendly and knowledgeable, Pietro took time (about 20 minutes) to explain his Prosecco when we showed up unannounced. Excellent Prosecco in the middle of the Cartizze region that competes very strongly with the multitude of other producers in the region. I've been visiting the area for over 30 years so I already have my favorites among the many I have tasted over the years. Pietro certainly knows what he is doing and I plan on many return visits. Driving up a long dirt road nestled between the grape vines sets a unique atmosphere that made for a better experience.
