We had a brilliant time on bikes we hired from this shop, it was so good we went back the following day and hired the same bikes again. The guy that runs the shop is so friendly and helpful. He changed the seats to more padded ones for us. The bikes cost 9 Euros each for the day. We are not cyclists at home as it's too dangerous on the roads where we live. The great thing about cycling in Puerto del Carmen is they have bike lanes kept away from the road traffic. It's also reasonably flat. The first day we hired the bikes we cycled to Arrecife along the coastal path, passed the airport and Playa Honda. The second day we cycled to Costa Teguise. Both days we stopped off in a Lolita bakery in Arrecife for fresh orange juice, coffee and cream buns. It's about 200 metres beyond the Grand Hotel and has bike parking directly across the street.
