Black Tie Ski rental is by far the best place to rent ski and snowboard equipment in Mt. Crested Butte. They come to your hotel or residence with everything. Our boots were brand new with the paper stuffing still in them. Had a small problem with my husbands boots and in less than 15 minutes they were at our hotel with a new pair. For a few dollars more than other places on the mountain you will get excellent service! Very well worth it!

Spencer, Nate and I think Cory (Spencer’s wife) fitted my family of 4 for the whole ski deal. They were kind, super friendly and knowledgeable and patient. This place rocks! The manager also was helpful and listened well to my feedback. Kathy fitted me for goggles and was awesome. What a great team!!!!

I came by to hire some alpine skis and boots. We received excellent service and the rental price was great too. A much quieter less hectic place than other ski hire places at the resort.

Arden and the Christys crew were super helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and kind. Super fun atmosphere! They also enforce the mask rule, which makes me feel safe in their shop during a pandemic. Highly recommend!

I consider myself to be an advanced beginner when it comes to skiing, so I don't own my ski equipment. I have rented from various vendors on the mountain and in town. All of my experiences have been relatively good. This time I rented at the Alpineer in town as on this particular day, I did not want to deal with the crowds and, I did not have alot of time. I walked right in to the Alpineer, walked to the back of the store, and I was helped immediately. I was the only one at that time looking to rent equipment. The staff was knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. It was relatively painless and I was out of there in about 20 minutes. I rented a Ski Sport package for 2 days, but I had to extend the rental because one day the visibility was poor. I called the store to let them know that I would be extending the rental, they notated my account, and that was that. Thank you to the staff for providing awesome and expedient service. See you next year.

We wish we could give 10 stars!!! We truly can't speak highly enough about Zach and his team for ski package rentals in Butte & Co.'s Main shop at the base. EVERYTHING went smoothly and perfect ..their customer service, professionalism, efficiency and courtesy from reservations, equipment fitting, daily storing of skis at the base only steps from the lift and they even store your after ski boots while you ski to save on locker fees. Again. Just can't give them enough praise! Johnny fitted us within 15 minutes and our boots felt better than they ever have and the bindings were perfect with NO issues all week!! The whole crew works & pulls together to get everyone in and out to the slopes, and they are sooo courteous and friendly!!Zach, Johnny and Robbie were our main guys, but they are ALL good and friendly!! And their location is the BEST!!! Truly only a few steps from Red Lady lift, and they store your skis for you!!! What more can one ask?! We will definitely be back and we will NEVER rent anywhere else!!! Thank you Zach and team for making this the BEST ski vacation we've EVER had!!! We can't wait to come back!!! You guys TOTALLY ROCK!!! Love you guys!!! And p.s. I’m a bit OCD and sometimes hard to please. TRUST Me!! These guys are the BOMB and you can’t beat the location! The Adkins
