My daughter and I spent three great days in Cortina skiing recently. Having booked equipment from abroad more than several times, I wasn't sure what type of place we'd walk into (staff, lines, service, etc.)- in summary, we couldn't have been more pleased! First, we totally lucked out that our hotel (Hotel Ambra Cortina) was a 30-second walk from Boarderline, a cool little shop in a great location, only a 5-minute walk to the Faloria cable car. Second and most importantly, Paolo and his staff were so accommodating, efficient and pleasant. We showed up the evening before skiing the following day, everything was already prepped and ready and it literally took us 5 minutes for both of us to get geared up. Additionally, given the busy season, Paolo gave us the scoop about what ski areas to avoid because of lines and gave us great recommendations re: the best places to ski in and around Cortina! I'd HIGHLY recommend Paolo/Boarderline and his team- a great shop, cool people and some nice gear for sale as well:) Greg/Washington, DC

Martino is an excellent ski guide for the Dolomites area. Not only he is a great ski instructor, he also took us to different slopes during our week's stay in the Dolomites area. He makes skiing so much fun and our skiing techniques have improved a lot over the week. We had the best and most memorable experience and we will be back!

We were referred to Jgor's shop by a friend in Cortina. The staff spoke great English and were knowledgable and friendly and their rates were very good. We were able to drop off our boots, skis, and poles every evening after skiing. They provided a safe place for our street shoes. I brought my own ski boots and when I explained that my boots were hard to get on they offered to warm them overnight! The location is wonderful one block from the center of town, the shop is located on the ground floor under the Funivia Flora Tram lift and 50 meters (50 yards) from the bus stop.
