Big thanks to Ainos Bikes - especially George - for the bikes - Specialized Crosstrail and Cube Curve- a superb way to explore and get a feel for the Island the villages beaches and hills and to do the shopping. Loved the cycle up and view from St George’s Castle. Also the run from Trapezaki back to Argostoli. Thanks for sorting us keeping bike for the second week at Lixouri - the ferry across was so easy. I initially contacted these guys in 2019 to arrange to rent a road bike for 5 days during June 2020. Covid got in the way initially so we rescheduled our trip for September and indeed the bike rental. Rent A Bike Kefalonia were quick and easy to deal with in making arrangements. Subsequent delivery / pick of the bike to / from our accommodation was puntual and easy. I had a Cube Attain SL 105 which was great. It came with spare inner tubes, a tool kit, helmet/ lights, first aid kit and basic computer. A must do if you're into your cycling. The roads are good, the views are spectaular and there's some proper climbs to get stuck into.

Hired a 300cc scooter for 7 days, the friendly owners were on hand to answer questions right from the beginning of booking it on line, and were very informative about the island and where to go.The bike was basically a new Sym scooter with only a couple thousand on the clock! It was just what we needed to get around the hills with plenty of storage space under the seat for helmets or shopping ( beers!). Only put twenty euros in of fuel for the whole week perfect. They also own a cafe next door, called Boho which does the most amazing crepes, chocolate heaven ????

Had two great trips out in very comfortable and well equipped single and double kayaks in both directions along the coast from the beautiful village of Fiskardo. Extremely helpful owners who provided us with a dry bag and who had plenty of local knowledge of the area to advise on safe places to go depending on the wind conditions. The sea conditions were very calm and the kayaks were very stable when we encountered the wakes of other boats. Overall a wonderful way to experience the beautiful Ionian sea without the smell and noise of a motor. Highly recommended.

My self and my son are cyclists back home so were looking for a good long day out riding. Our guide Victoria was fantastic, organising a route and making sure we were happy with it as we went along. Enough stops for swimming and a lovely lunch. Bikes were ideal, and Victoria gave us plenty of interesting facts as we went round. Would strongly recommend.She had said that they take groups of all abilities, varying the route as appropriate, so well worth a try even if you aren't really a cyclist.
