Phangan Arena is the only place in Koh Phangan where you can play football (soccer for americans), Volleyball, Tenis, Basketball or even work out in their gym. It is run by French guys who come out and play football with the guest almost every day. The football pitch is perfect for a 7-a-side games and it is the best quality. The staff is always super helpful, whether you want to drink your beer by the pool side (super cool pool) or, around the premises. Phangan Arena is located in Ban Tai, literally 4 minutes drive from Thongsala, where you arrive by boat. If you travel with friends and also want to play sports, this IS THE PLACE to be! I highly recommend it!

Excellent facility in the heart of Ban Tai. I have played here regularly in the last few months and love every game I play! Fantastic court, facilities and staff. You can work up a sweat here! The location has a good view of the sea, away from the main road. You can rent equipment here and book the court. Also if you enjoy football there is a pitch on the other side of the road. :)

We went there first with our son and grandsons during the Flower Festival and were amazed at all of the many colorful flower displays. The next week just the two of us returned. While the additional flowers from the Festival had been removed, the gardens were still just as beautiful. It's a great place to rest after a long walk in the city.
