What a pleasure and pleasant surprise we found a full service place to eat for a fraction of the cost to dine off campus! After our wonderful 1-hour scenic boat tour, we decided to head towards campus for a walking tour of Rollins. The tour guide mentioned the campus had shown up on the Princeton review as one of the most beautiful campuses, so of course I wanted to check it out for myself. Our guide also mentioned the schools’ cafeteria was open to the public as well! The campus was indeed beautiful and you could have a fantastic meal on a beautiful patio overlooking the lake! If you’re ever in the area or you’re doing a scenic boat tour make sure you add the Rollins campus walking tour and cafe to you must-see list! Food, customer service and views were all A-1! Also, check-out the rows of rocks ...

Beautiful, beautiful place. Our daughter just got married here last week. She did all the arrangements over the phone, since we live in Indiana. We were over the top pleased with the beautiful place. All the cypress trees, the moss, the lake, the white egrets were just starting to gather in the trees for mating season. Not much parking space.

The museum provided an intimate look at the African-American community that established the Winter Park area. There were beautiful photographs of community members and their contribution to the Winter Park community. There is also artwork upstairs by various artists that is amazing at best! If you like to get a glimpse in to the unique beginnings of Winter Park, this museum is for you!

Saturday morning fun activity. Great variety of vendors. We felt that the vegetable/fruit stands were nicely displayed and organized. Prices were very reasonable, unlike other towns that we have marketed in. Very clean and COVID conscious. Everyone wore masks.

Lake Baldwin Dog Park

This was our first time to visit it. Our dog loves to retrieve a ball especially in the water so this is the only one in the area where your dog can”swim”. Unfortunately not everyone is diligent to pick up after their dog:( there are a couple of stations to wash your dog after playing. This is a nice large park and we didn’t experience any aggressive dogs.

Winter Park

Reviewed By NCluvtrav - Hillsborough, United States

Loved living in Winter Park as a child and now as an adult love coming back to visit. Housing can be quite $$$ especially on the chain of lakes but they sure are beautiful. Park Ave. provides great shopping, restaurants, museums, a park, banking, etc. The train and Sun Rail go right thru downtown with a stop at the station right there by Park Ave. Rollins College is located at the south side of the park. Dinky Dock is close as well where you can launch your boat. Lee Road has been improved where traffic does not get so backed up onto 17-92. Love the area.
