Centennial Waterfront Park

Reviewed By TravelingCarberries - Lincoln, United States

Doesn't look like much from above, but a VERY cool area with some amazing photo opps. Be sure to climb up the large rock formation in the center area for a super sweet photo with the Perrine Bridge, water, canyon walls, etc. for your background. And be sure to take the short hike under the big waterfall (park near the switchback as you drive down into the canyon).

Perrine Bridge

Reviewed By SunflowerDay - Fort Lauderdale, United States

This is a place you must see. It is a beautiful scenic point, has great trails for walking, biking near it, and is one of the only stationary BASE jumping sites in the US - so you get to see lots of action off the bridge. Hiking is easy, paved.

Auger Falls

Auger Falls isn't much of a waterfall during the early spring snow melt. It just looks like a rapid and that's it. I would go later in the spring or early summer.

Rock Creek Park is near my hometown but I hadn't been there for many years. The park is now fixed with amenities for picnics and has a wonderful path along the canyon walls of lava and is great for wondering and exploring.

Buzz Langdon Visitor Center

Didn't expect much, but I was impressed. The staff was very helpful & knowledgeable! Tons of maps and information. We only had a short time in Twin and were jonesing for some pizza. The guy at the desk gave 4 different *informed* options and a map to help us find them all. Beautiful building conveniently located right next to the Perrine Bridge...they share the same parking lot. I wish we had more time to spend here and find even more things to do. Great that it was open late!!
