Lake Muskoka

Reviewed By O8166OLdaniel - Muskoka District, Canada

Lake Muskoka is my favourite place. Many childhood memories were created here and I still see this lake daily. I try to get out on the lake as often as possible in the boat, paddleboard or even aboard one of the great ships cruising out of the Muskoka Wharf. Definitely a treasure and should be protected for futures generations to enjoy!

I love going to Maple Bluff Farm each year. Their tour shows the immaculate conditions they keep for the maple harvesting. The owners (Bob & Michelle) are so friendly and passionate, producing maple products are delicious and varied ~ from their maple butter to BBQ sauce and dressings to pancake mixes. A “must see” farm in Huntsville.

Group of Seven Outdoor Gallery

Reviewed By annemarieh905 - Barrie, Canada

We had a wonderful time in Huntsville looking at the stores and purchasing items at the various stores and did a walk about looking at the sculpture and outdoor wall murals and reading the signage about the paintings. We didn't see all of them, but did enjoy what we did see. The day was sunny and relatively warm. A glorious day - we would like to visit it again when it's a little warmer...maybe in July.

We were disappointed that the Museum was not open at all in winter according to online information. We jumped at the chance to visit when we were told that it was indeed opening during the Dorset Snowball on February 15 2020. There are so many stories and artifacts in such a small place and the volunteer was helpful and enthusiastic. We had a wonderful little visit.
