This lookout is worth the stop along the Bells Line of Road. I visited during the bushfires before this road got closed, and was surprised to find the view had not been affected, winds obviously working in my favour for this delightful view. On site amenities were handy.

Hawkesbury Regional Museum

Hawkesbury Regional Museum is located in one of our country's oldest settlements-the third on mainland Australia after Sydney and Parramatta. It is the only publicly-run , professionally staffed museum in the Hawkesbury and, indeed, in the wider area including the Blue Mountains, Penrith, Hills and Blacktown local government areas.

A day out to visit Windsor after over 40 years and to find the Museum was the highlite of the day. Staff spent time to show us the basic layout of the exhibits and written information available. Be assured this is a very good Museum housed in a modern building and we will be back. to relax and spend more time. George H Cronulla

Hawkins Lookout

Not far from Sydney as you head towards Wiseman's Ferry. Beautiful view of the Hawkesbury River from this lookout. You get a glimpse of the calm and serene view of Wiseman’s Ferry below. Worth stopping for a few minutes. You don’t need a long stop to enjoy this little lookout. Parking is limited so if carpark is full, you can’t really park on the roadside.
