Bandaje Arbi falls is located in the charmadi forest range. It is around 300kms from Bangalore. We took a KSRTC bus to dharamastala visited the temple. Its around 30kms from dharmastala. One can get a jeep rise till ujire and then you can go by the auto rickshaw to the base of the hill. There is one person who can get you some food (basically idli sambar and some rice item) if order it in advance. Bandaje Arbi falls trek can be done in 2 ways, one ascend from ujire side and descend in the same direction after seeing the falls. We ascended from ujire side and camped near the falls and then next day we further moved and saw Ballarayanadyrga Fort and descended near Horanadu side (better option). We had the darshan of goddess Annapoorneshwari and headed back to Bangalore by bus. Carry lots of water and save some energy rich chocolates or bars. Don't forget to carry tent's, torches (2 per person recommend), Volini sprays and other required things. I don't remember paying any kind of entrance fee..but do carry identity cards.

Kukke Subramanya is a Hindu temple located in the karnataka, In this temple Kartikeya is worshipped as Subramanya,lord of all serpents. The epics relate that the divine serpent Vasuki and other serpents found refuge under Subramanya when threatened by the Garuda. Overlooking the temple is the famous mountain of Kumara Parvatha, a popular hiking destination for trekkers from across South India. Kumara Parvatha forms a picture-perfect backdrop to the temple entrance and the Shesha Parvatha (a mountain shaped like a six-headed mythological serpent, adjacent to Kumara Parvatha) looks like a cobra with its open hood, as if protecting the temple shrine of Lord Subramanya. The temple is situated on the western slopes of the Ghats and is covered with dense evergreen forests Pilgrims going to the temple have to cross the Kumaradhara River and take a holy dip in the river before entering the temple for their darshan holy viewing of the Lord.

Situated in the heart of the city this huge temple is a divine place. The smaller temples of Aiyappa, Anjaneya, Ganesha, Durga Parameswari & Chandramouleeswara add to the splendour. The Kaasi Bhageerathi theertha from where water can be collected & used for abhishekam of the Shiva lingam by devotees is so unique. A must experience place.

Sharavu MAha ganapathy temle in the heart of the city , is a must visit when in m'lore. Main daity here is Shivji , but lord ganapathy is worshiped @ large here. Inspite of being Off the busy MG rd , this temple is peacefull with enough parking space.

KATEEL DURGAPARMESHWARI TEMPLE is a very beautiful temple in dakshina Kannada (DK) mangaluru.... it's a boat shaped temple with the river nandini flowing on both sides of the temple.... to understand this boat shaped structure of this temple u should visit this temple in d rainy season.... recommend to visit this divine temple in the holy month of shraavan as per the Hindu calender.(south Indian kannada/ tulu calendar) on Tuesdays & Fridays.... the divinity which u experience in this temple cannot be described in words.... the MURTI of this goddess is made of gold... u can see this beautiful MURTI frm a distance.... there's only one small diya inside the garhbagruha of this holy temple where the beautiful goddess is kept.......no tube lights inside the garhbagruha... (sanctum santorium)...the beauty of tat goddess in tat small diya inside the garhbagruha is mind blowing..... it's a divine experience.... the goddess is decorated with infinite chendus of malligee flowers.... these malligee flowers are extremely beautiful delicate and fragrant.... they're found only in mangaluru.....(meaning of chendu....long strands of flowers arranged in the form of a coil)... ppl also offer bonda.... ie tender coconut to the goddess.... tis bonda is not to be confused with eatable boonda Mysore boonda etc the beautiful fragrance of these malligee flowers lingers all around the temple..... in this temple also one can offer different sevas to the goddess starting frm rs.30 upto rs.500000....so even a common man can do a simple SEVA.... if u go in other seasons u can't appreciate the boat shaped temple becz the riverbed is visible after monsoon.. one more thing..... all temples in mangaluru have plenty of water to wash ur feet and hands b4 entering d main temple..... cleanliness is next to godliness.... epitome of cleanliness....

Light house or nitk beach is one of the old and known beach for light house where the whole sea with a beautiful veiw can be seen . Place to be avoided during monsoon . There are small snack stalls in the entry of beach. There is a place to sit on top and chill with friends or family and enjoy your day by sea side during Sun set.

Being an Aloysius student would highly recommend to visit this place for its beautiful painting inside and how it is maintained .it was build by Jesuits missionaries As the chapel is our colg huge campus which is very clean and neat and colg is also worth the visit.

One of the oldest and most popular Churches in Mangalore, located at Hampankatta the very heart of the city, it is architecturally Beautiful Church and also very Sacred, it hosts the Relic of Saint Anthony of Padua, and every Tuesdays there is Mass and Novena that is dedicated to Saint Anthony. The temple is located in the heart of the city. Parking may be an issue but you can park your vehicle at the roadside. The goddess is one of the forms of Shakti. You get a positive energy after having Darshan here. Temple is clean and maintained. I visited during Corona time and all the Covid protocols were found to be followed.
