The Chuvash Republic (Russian: Чува́шская Респу́блика — Чува́шия, Chuvashskaya Respublika — Chuvashiya; Chuvash: Чăваш Республики, Čăvaš Respubliki), or Chuvashia (Russian: Чува́шия Chuvashiya; Chuvash: Чăваш Ен, Čăvaš Jen) for short, is a federal subject of Russia (a republic).
