We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Lupulus, in the middle of nowhere Belgium. As English-only speakers we knowingly signed up for a French/Dutch tour, but the amazing tour guide went out of her way to also provide English for us. The facility was amazingly clean and compact, and a terrific overview was provided on the history, branding, brewing process and production process. The tour lasted around 1.5 hours, including the tasting (2 pours), and guests were given a souvenir glass to take home.

We visited this brewery during our summer holidays. Achouffe village is picturesque in the middle of Ardennes, so the surroundings are all postcard pictures on a clear day. The brewery is very well presented with tours available, tasting sessions and a restaurant. Parking is not a problem even on a "busy" day. The best of all is the shop - where we bought 3 crates of La Chouffe for total of about 100 EUR - BARGAIN! Will visit again as it is by far my favourite Belgian beer!
