What a fantastic place! Beautiful surroundings among olive and fruit trees. The pool is awesome. Felice was super attentive and made great drinks by the pool. The breakfast is great full of local produce. On request, the hotel would make a light lunch. We were extremely pleased with our choice.

Wow - an incredible meal and a great place for families!

The owner of our amazing Airbnb (Trulli Santa Croce) suggested we go to dinner at Masseria Cattucci. The food and wine was incredible, as was the service. Our kids even joined a game of soccer in the court attached to the restaurant. If you want a dinner that is a reflection of the region of Puglia - go here!

Trulli Il Castagno Country House

Trulli il Castagno is a traditional Puglian farm in a pristine location surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and Mediterranean scrub. The trulli complex dates back to the early part of the 19th century and has been inherited by our family. The renovation of our farm was truly a labor of love and the results speak volumes.

Masseria Torremossa

Peacefulness and relax surrounded by nature, between vegetable gardens and thousand-year old olive trees of Upper Salento in Fasano's countryside. Masseria Torremossa, situated in C.Da Carbonelli, was built around a little 18th century core used as a farmville; since then it has been interested by several extensions and by a total restoration that led to the present aspect. Due to its location at about 1,5 km from the beautiful sea of Savelletri, in few minutes by car you can easily reach wonderful world-recognized ancient towns as Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Fasano, Ostuni, Castellana, Alberobello, Cisternino, Martina Franca. The Masseria, with original furniture, will let you live the apulian farmer's tradition; all rooms (3 double and 1 familiar), provided with private bathroom and every kind of comfort (conditioned air, TV, bar fridge) ,will welcome you in a completely familiar atmosphere. You will enjoy at breakfast farm-fresh produce and tipical dishes and, if you like, follow traditional apulian cooking courses or spend formative days in the fields with a direct personal contact with nature.

Kind of disappointing

Given that masserias are out in the country, it is normal to expect things to be a little relaxed. However, it was difficult to figure out how to go it the facility because the main entry door is always locked and there is no entry sign of any kind. You have to be lucky enough to be let in by the owner. We were not in the main building but rather a side building with 2 rooms in it. We had the air on all night, but it was such a little unit that it was 85+ in our room. It was miserable. Breakfast was good but not great. The pool was nice. The room furniture was old and tired looking. Checking out was equally disorganized.

Wonderful place to stay

I recently visited Masseria Salamina for a week and I can't say enough about it. It was beautiful, immaculately clean, the location is great and the staff was the absolute best. Fillipo, the owner of the masseria, was extremely accommodating and helpful. We didn't have a car while we were there and he helped us with securing local transportation and restaurant recommendations. We had to do nothing while we were there. I would like to visit again but in the summer so I can take advantage of their beautiful pool. I highly recommend Masseria Salamina!
