Daniel, our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He showed us everything from the oldest parts of Bogota to the new parts of the city and the plans for the future. This was a last minute trip so I had not done much research into Bogota prior to my trip. The guided tour through the city and to Mount Monserrate made the trip worth while. Daniel was also very patient with my limited Spanish.

The tour operator did not turn up. Their explanation for not picking us up was that we booked over the weekend for a Monday morning tour‽ Considering we booked on the Saturday this shouldn’t have been a problem, especially as Trip Adviser sent confirmation. They did offer to take us the next day but considering we were leaving that day this wasn’t possible. We ended up taking an Uber there which ended up being cheaper and quite ok. They did process the refund promptly.

Had a private day tour to Guatavita and the Salt Cathedral from Bogota. Everything was well organised from pick up from the hotel till drop off. Andrea was an excellent guide. Helped with the translation at Guatavita and waited patiently for me while I visited the Salt Cathedral. Also helped me take pics. Had a great time chatting with her during the trip. Highly recommended.
