A friend and I decided to explore more beyond Venice and signed up for an all-day Valpolicella wine and olive oil tasting tour with Bella at Venice Countryside. Bella was a great communicator before the tour, answering all of my questions promptly via email. On tour day, she and our driver Frederico picked us up at Piazzale Roma - and Bella had to come find us because we were lost trying to find them! She was immediately friendly and engaging and put us at ease. As we drove out of town, we chatted and learned about the areas we were seeing, and they both kindly allowed us to get out and take photos when we could no longer let all of the beauty of the countryside pass us by! Arriving at the vineyard, we were taken on a brief tour of the cellars and had a chance to ask questions about their wine-making process. Next up was the tasting room, and what a wonderful opportunity. Beautiful setting, friendly people, and fantastic wines. All along the spectrum of white to red, each wine was a pleasure to taste. My friend and I are into photography and had a chance to take more photos after the tasting before we headed on to lunch. Lunch was at a wonderful restaurant set in a small town amidst picturesque views - and the food was as fantastic as the wine. Bella did a great job at making sure the menu met both of our needs (vegetarian and carnivore). From there we headed on to the olive oil mill, where we learned about their process and had a chance to sample some oils. This was another enjoyable stop, with more beautiful views and great oils. When I booked the tour I hadn't realized I was planning quite such a relaxing and fun day. Bella truly made us feel that we were with friends rather than on tour. On the way back to Venice she provided us with some recommendations on restaurants and off-the-beaten path places to seek out in the city. This excursion was the highlight of my trip. Thank you, Bella!

We had to cancel our trip to Italy and asked to Fiorella to organise for us another experience in Venice. She was our guide two years ago and was so nice to do a virtual tour from home just for us. She took a lot pictures of canaregio and the Jewish Ghetto and gave us a plenty of information. We really appreciate it! We were so glad to meet Fiorella again and talk a lot about Venice and Italy! Many thanks

Together we will discover the Prosecco Hills. In the morning we will visit a winery located in an area with a beautiful scenery, where we will learn all the secrets of Prosecco wine making and taste some glasses of this famous sparkling wine! We will then visit a local Osteria lost in the middle of the hills. We will meet my family, while enjoying a typical lunch in our family owned osteria, where traditional dishes are prepared using our grandma's recipes, and where the typical "spiedo" meat cooks slowly near the fire! All desserts are home made by my brother and are really a sweet end of a delicious 4 courses meal! We will visit a second winery, where we will meet friends that run a very high quality DOCG Prosecco winery and produce wines using ancient types of vines and lots of passion! Finally, in summer time only (Apr to Oct included), we will enjoy a unique experience in a stunning area in the middle of the vineyards.

One of the best private tours we have ever taken. Carlo was a fabulous host and guide and gave us an experience we will not soon forget! The scenery and the wineries were wonderful. The lunch at his family’s restaurant was superb not to mention the hospitality! And did I mention the wine. Even the members of our group who were not Prosecco lovers left with a new found love for it. We all ordered from the wonderful winery and I am still saving a bottle to drink on our Anniversary!! This is a tour worth taking! Thank you Carlo.

I cannot recommend this tour enough! It was a great escape from the tourists in Venice. We received first-class treatment from our guide and the staff at the 3 vineyard stops. Plus, they were very generous with the Prosecco! The views were out of a picture book! We even got to help with the harvest!

Guide and water transportation picked us up at our hotel on time. Guide was very friendly - knowledgeable and accommodating. The glass experience was incredible - the artist made several pieces in front of us. Opportunity to view and purchase pieces. The family at the glass shoppe was superb - they even made a couple of special requests for us while we waited and watched. Guide then took us to a lunch spot she recommended - walked us to the spot and introduced us to the owners who treated us like royalty - with no reservation on a packed day. All in all - a great time for my family

My wife and really enjoyed our trip to Iceland—and we GREATLY appreciate the incredible amount of effort that went into planning our trip. We are both vaccinated, but didn't know what to expect. Traveling itself was easier then we imagined. Firebird team helped us arrange PCR tests for arrival/departure, and shared all requirements that Iceland has for indoor outdoor mask requirements. Basically you need to wear mask inside in all public places, and should be wearing it outside, but most people usually don't have it on. Our guide and drivers always were wearing mask and had extra masks and cleaning solutions with them at all times, which we appreciate. We plan to use Firebird again in the near future. Thank you very much for everthing!

Our team did a virtual cooking class together on Zoom! The recipes and instructions were clear and we were ready when the class started. It was so much fun and I can't believe we were able to make an amazing risotto AND a tiramisu to enjoy with our families that evening. Julia, our chef, did a great job of identifying each next step while keeping us calm. She could look at our dishes and let us know if we needed a little something more or, uh oh, a little something less! The food was delicious and we really had a great time all together, despite being in different countries and different kitchens!

I have been to Venice before but wanted to show my wife the most of Venice in 3 days before we departed for our cruise. We had a limited time visiting Venice and decided on this tour rather than exploring on our own for the sake of time. This was a wonderful tour and highlighted the best of Venice. We really enjoyed the narration of the city and it's history. The boat ride was probably the highlight of the tour. It showed us many areas that tourist don't usually go to and we saw absolutely beautiful cathedrals and private homes. This tour was a no brainier and would recommended it to everyone.

Great experience but watch out for the "swap the glass with a broken one scam" we paid E500 for 2 glasses, got back on the cruise ship only to find a chip in the glass. These were perfect when we chose them in the gallery. A big shame as it let down an otherwise great day with a free (though apparently not) water taxi ride from the main part of Venice, had to make own way back which was easy though
