We hired Adam at the last second to take us to Plivitce lakes for the day. He was super flexible with timing given that we booked the tour the night before at 11 pm. Adam was a great conversationalist and we enjoyed learning about his experiences during our 2 hour drive to the lakes. He was helpful in showing us around and gave great local suggestions of places to try in Zagreb.

My fiancé and I had such a good time with Jakov!! His knowledge of Croatian history and the surrounding countries was unbelievable, and he weaved in interesting stories and little facts as we strolled along in Samobor or drove through the beautiful vineyards. There was never a moment that wasn’t fun! He has such a great sense of humor and his passion for leading tour guides is wonderful. It’s clear he has so much experience as a tour guide and really is so great at what he does. We felt like we could’ve been old friends with him by the end of the day, and we’re so glad we had this opportunity. It was definitely the highlight of our stay in Zagreb!!

Partner and I hike a lot but never before had a guide, and with Karlo as experienced hiker we felt safe and well organized. Highlight of the trip- wine tasting of course :) Amazing time, Croatia's nature is so beautifull!

Enjoy the hidden gems of the North of Croatia in this private, tailor-made tour by car/minivan. Start with the Village of Kumrovec, where the president of former Yugoslavia was born, far away from the crowds of Zagreb. After a peaceful walk through this village-museum and its traditional houses and traditions, continue to our most famous castle, Trakoscan. The history of the families that owned the castle is very turbulent, so after learning about it, you can relax next to the charming lake and have a snack with a tremendous view of the castle. The tour finishes with the city of Baroque, as they call Varazdin. The numerous palaces and the Old Castle tell a long history of the city that used to be the capital of Croatia. After the tour, private transfer to your hotel or Zagreb city center.

We were very happy that we were able to do a tour to the plitvice lakes in corona times. The company offered us a private tour (for a slightly higher price), and the driver, Darko, picked us up at our hotel. Darko is a wonderful guide, thanks to his knowledge about the country, which extends to culture, history and even philosophy. We enjoyed interesting conversations with him in the car. When we had seen the plitvice park, we only had to call him and he picked us up again within 5 minutes!

This is a very long overdue review for Croatia Photo Tour. Only a couple of weeks before my intended trip,I found out that my intended vacation to another country was no longer possible, and I was going to be going to Croatia by myself (solo female traveler). I travel internationally fairly often for business by myself, but was nervous at the idea of trying to scramble to set up a very last minute itinerary. Igor helped me arrange a fantastic private itinerary to see many of Croatia and Bosnia's most scenic spots, and worked around my inconvenient hotel accommodations during the trip. Honestly, just having the itinerary and transit arranged alone was worth the cost of the tour but having the photography instruction was such a fantastic addition to the tour! On top of that, Igor was very helpful and patient as he taught me new techniques with my camera. I am very happy with all of the photos I took, and couldn't have done it without this tour. I would be happy to hire Croatia Photo Tours for my next trip to Croatia.
