Visit Galle - The city resembles no other city in Sri Lanka, and meandering around through the tight lanes makes you even overlook that you are in Sri Lanka. It really wants to walk the lanes of a medieval city in Europe! Extremely peculiar in a way.

Super little day trip, we saw lots of monkeys up close as well as have a little fresh fruit picnic breakfast by a little island, boat driver was really knowledgeable and informative. The “English speaking” driver who picked us up from our hotel arrived was almost an hour late and wasn’t very chatty... The included lunch was ok, but nothing special.

Our tour started with the pick up from our hotel at Galle fort. Roshan was so friendly and extremely informative. Had a wonderful day with new friends, enjoying the scenery and hiking the Rainforest. This should be in everyone's list when visiting Sri Lanka. Loved the added bonus of Tea factory visit. Guide Wigitha made the day amazing. Although no rain in the rainforest ,this day made the hike a bit less slippery, the flora, fauna and the waterfall -- all made a lovely day. One of our Dreams was to swim under the waterfall, and we got a chance to do it here. Transportation was comfortable and efficient, and the lunch was delicious. Would highly recommend this tour and also this tour company.

Galle, 119km from Colombo, is a major city situated at the tip of the South Western coast of Sri Lanka. Being a coastal area, it is quite hot and humid but has an abundance of beautiful beaches in every town that you pass while travelling from Colombo to Galle. The Galle Fort was built by the Portuguese, fortified later by the Dutch and is well preserved till today. In addition to the Portuguese and Dutch remains, you will also find many British mansions left behind. As for beaches, the Unawatuna Bay probably tops it all and is safe for snorkelling and swimming because a reef protects it. There you have it, a day tour of the city of Galle in a nutshell.

Dulshan was the perfect host! My family and I all joined Dulshan to prepare and cook a Sri Lankan curry. Dulshan was full of energy and enthusiasm as he told us all about Sri Lanka which gave a wonderful context for the food we were about to prepare. As we prepared and cooked the food, Dulshan was engaging and fun, making everyone feel at ease. The instructions were made easy to follow and Dulshan gave guidance to manage the spice levels for each individual. The food was delicious. Overall, it was a fabulous cookery course. I had such fun! Dulshan was an exceptional host, guide and teacher! I would highly recommend!

It was an amazing experience of watching from one day hatched turtle to hundred years old turtle. This you can stop either going or coming back from Galle Fort.

The trip with our Private Driver (Wajira) was absolutely perfect! He was professional, friendly, funny and showed us many beautiful places we might not have discovered without him. Our wellbeing was his priority and we felt really safe and taken care of. Furthermore he was always punctual which is very valuable as we have had not so good experiences with punctuality the second week without him. We organisation with Yenara was easy and professional! We highly recommend this organisation for your Sri Lanka discovery! We will book them again on our next trip.
