Our family had a wonderful tour of My Son with Andy. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the temples, but he also spent the ride to My Son from Hoi An explaining all kinds of interesting tidbits about Vietnamese culture and history. We had our 21 month old with us, and he was very patient. Even explaining things twice so that one of us could stay with our son and take turns going up areas where it would be hard to navigate with the stroller. We basically had the area to ourselves as tourism hasn’t quite bounced back yet from the Covid season.

Da Nang is a coastal city with a 60-km long shoreline. With smooth and sandy beaches running across the coast, Da Nang beach is voted by Forbes (U.S.) to be 1 of 6 most beautiful beaches in the world. Not only is the city famous for its beaches, Da Nang’s charm also lays in its geographical position: leaning against the majestic Truong Son mountains (or the Annamite Range), as well as having Son Tra Peninsula embracing the sea. Hai Van Pass, shaped by this ideal geographical feature is praised ‘The most marvelous scenery of all’ for having an amazing view overlooking the sea, besides the notorious dangerous curves. At the same time Da Nang has a lot of museum to save valuable items from ancient century which you should consider in your trip.

We even got to make some suggestions to go to, on top of what he planned for us. We made lots of photo stops at the most beautiful views. I recommend this trip to everyone who wants to see more of Vietnam than just the touristic stuff because this trip makes you truly feel like a local!

Contacted the night before by email and message at front desk of hotel to confirm times & pick up.Picked up from our hotel at the time stated relatively new mini bus with air conditioning. Bus held 12 only 6 on tour. Cold water provided. Scenic drive out to My Son with the guide pointing relevant points of interest as we drove to site (about 90 mins). The site was empty on our arrival (just before Covid 19 hit a number of countries had already stopped their nationals travelling). The site is small but worth seeing. We had to take an electric bus up to the site from the car park I would have preferred to walk as it was less than a mile. The guide was very informative and answered any questions brought up by the group. We had nearly 2 hours walking around and then back on the bus to Hoi An. We asked to be dropped in the Old town not at our hotel which the driver and guide facilitated. We had considered renting a scooter and making our own way there but it is quite a considerable distance, the weather very hot, traffic intimidating and roads are not always hard surfaced. Worth the money

The tour quality is not too bad. But the company's attitude towards their employee is bad, which is very important because that employee will use the same attitude towards the customer. Negative emotions are something that should not be present when traveling.
