I'm really glad I booked with Richard's Tours and certainly wasn't dissapointed! I had other things on in the morning so with short notice, Richard responded to agree a meet in the afternoon and he was bang on time. He was presentable, amiable and down to earth. It was immediately obvious that he was very keen to share his well researched knowledge, which was reassuring given that having paid for a private tour, I was getting a lot more than an off the shelf group tour (from what others have described to me). Born a Londoner and more than familiar with the area, he regularly checked that the tour pace was comfortable to ensure I was happy with the 3 hour route. He was very helpful with fotos and encouraged questions and discussions on this still mysterious subject, which is pretty clear that he's personally interested in, so much so that in the short time, not only did I acquire a lot of knowledge, but he's actually perked my own interest in Jack The Ripper! Although some parts of the area are still dodgy, I felt completely at ease being with Richard, who increasingly came across as more of a friendly local rather than a tour guide, and despite the atrocious weather, the 3 hours passed well beyond my expectations given his abilities - so excellent value for money. In conclusion, I should add that I'm also from London, but Richard's Tours aren't just for tourists, so if you're short on time and want a knowledgeable host, then Richard Chambers is your man. I, for one, will be checking out his other tours!

All our tours have been made Covid secure and are carried out in daily sanitised vehicles. We have personal protective equipment (PPE) such as antibacterials, face coverings and disposable gloves. Our staff carry out a daily health check with temperature checks. The venues have sanitising stations and respect UK government rules on social distancing and safe travel. Windsor Castle: See the State Apartments used for official state and events. Wonder at St George's Chapel. To avoid overcrowding guiding is not permitted in most parts of the castle so you will be provided with a complimentary audioguide to visit the State Apartments and St George's Chapel. Visit Hampton Court Palace and see two Royal Palaces in one. Henry VIII's tudor palace and the 17th century Baroque Palace by Christopher Wren It's a fantastic day out for all the family with actors and performers, a maze, playground, great exhibits and some of the finest gardens in the country. A very royal experience.

We had booked four transfers with London Cruise Transfers and had excellent service with Steven Jones who accommodated all of our needs perfectly. Unfortunately we had to cancel as our cruise was cancelled out of Southhampton. Steve immediately credited us back our initial deposit and I told him that we would keep all information on file as we will surely use them when we go to England sometime next year. We have used various travel transfers in the past but have never had service like this. I would recommend them totally Joyce Scavuzzo

I’ll guide you through one of England’s finest palaces before we return to Westminster for a tour of London’s famous royal landmarks. I'll be explaining as we explore. Hampton Court Palace was built by Henry VIII 500 years ago and is a superb example of Tudor extravagance. It doubled in size in the 1600s for King William and Queen Mary, creating a huge royal residence of baroque opulence and grandeur. This palace overflows with history and intrigue..and a ghost; there are so many tales here for me to tell. The drive back to central London takes an hour. The Royal London Tour covers Buckingham Palace, St James's Palace, Westminster Abbey and more royal highlights. Having a driver/walking guide like me conducting your tour in a London taxi is super-efficient helping to make the day enjoyable and memorable.

I had an absolutely FANTASTIC time on this tour. It was a little mix of everything - fantastic highlights of London, hidden undiscovered gems and of course, some rock and roll as well! Not only is Graham an extremely knowledgable, wonderful tour guide to spend a day with, you get to see London from a completely different angle - both in terms of sites and history. I learnt SO much about architecture, historical events and now need to do my research on all the architects Graham told me about! Graham knows every road, every building, from top to toe - his London geography from years of being a black taxi driver complete with his undeniable, historical knowledge made this a really special experience. This is a fantastic option for a unique, interesting and covid safe day out - I couldn't recommend this tour and Graham enough. His cab is also perfect for disabled friendly tours - and as my Dad is disabled, this was good to know for the future. Thank you so much Graham!

Francesco did a tremendous job for us. He obviously knew his subject very well and delivered it using humour and candour. The only thing that was missing in our opinion was speakers because at times we were at the back and could not hear him...otherwise excellent...and we wish him the best with his Architectural studies Regards Soumi and Lydia Mitra

A little luxury in Covid times, I decided to take a taxi to Heathrow airport rather than the good old tube. The taxi was early: an immaculate Audi A8 as requested. The drive from central London to Heathrow for once was not an unpleasant but necessary wait before the adventure starts, but an integral part of a relaxing holiday. I hope the rest of the holiday goes equally well, otherwise my next holiday might just be being driven around by Jamid, the driver.
