We did a shore excursion from Casablanca to Marrakech, professional driver, always following the speed limit, guide covered everything that we ask for. Good communication by email or whatsapp. The people from the ship who stayed in Casablanca complained a lot, not a good place to spend the day. So take the tour and enjoy Marrakech.

I always fall in love with this place in Casablanca when I am there. And I am so happy now, that because of Corona now less artworks are made in China which are sold there... you find now more moroccan stuff and this is how it should be in Morocco!

It turned out that we had the exclusive use of our driver, Hussain (or maybe Hassan? Sorry!) rather than being squeezed into the minibus - which was great! We could take as long as needed or just go when we wanted and he was, of course, very knowledgeable and keen to share his love of his country with us. Since it was early in the season the cascades were yet a little muted and so, rather than climb too high in some less than ideal footwear, we stopped at the second then returned for some lunch! We had visited a very good (and regulated) medicinal herb shop on our way and stopped at a typical Berber house on our return so, all in all, a very worthwhile trip!

Its a nice drive to the Paradise Valley. When we arrived been welcomed by 3 wild dogs who went walking with us. When we actually arrived at the Valley was so disappointed, the place is full of rubbish, chairs and tables in the lake :( The man lake where you use to be able to do cliff jumping was dry ( no rain for 3 years ) wish they have told us about it as that was the main reason we went, we actually wanted to swim in it. Overall it was still nice site seeing and nice walk.

Idrissi and Mourad made for an incredible trip to Fez. Everyone at this company follows Covid safety guidelines, and we felt very safe. The drive to Fez was breathtaking, and totally different than the other parts of the country we had visited. Mourad took us to a nice rest stop for a break along the drive. The ride was comfortable, with reclining seats, A/C, sanitizer, water, etc... In Fez, we met up with our guide, Idrissi, who has been a tour guide in Fez for about 40 years! He has an extremely extensive knowledge of the city of Fez, and gave us the experience of having a friendly, scholarly historian as a guide. We could tell right away that Idrissi is very well respected in Fez, by how locals would greet him so happily through the city. He is very well dressed and polite. We felt lucky to have him as a guide. We started by driving through the new Medina, then got out by the Royal Palace and walked through the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter. He pointed out the various gates and walls of the Medinas, and even knew how old they were. He pointed out which areas of the walls were from different times. We walked to Fes El Bali, the oldest neighborhood in Fez, and thought to be the oldest in-tact Medina in the world. There we got to see both sides of the famous Bab Boujloud gate, which has a completely different view from either side, and an amazing story behind its design. We got to see the outside of the Medersa Bou Inania, the Mosquee Al Qaraouiyine (which was one of the oldest universities in the world), and Medersa Attarine, (due to Covid, we couldn’t go inside). We walked through the Souk District, home of the local craftwork, where Idrissi was an expert at navigating. He also is very knowledgeable about which shops have quality handmade goods, and which shops to avoid. We are vegan, so Idrissi customized the trip for us, and skipped past the meat market and camel leather areas for us, which was very nice of him. He only took us to things that we were interested in seeing, and things that he knew we would appreciate. We got to go into the Nejjarine Museum of cedar wood, which displays artifacts of all of the various ways Moroccans used cedar wood from the Atlas Mountains from the 14th century to now. Idrissi also took us to many amazing lookout points with breathtaking views and photo-ops. Something we really appreciated was how he made sure that we did not feel pressure to buy things, and made sure the shop owners were not pushy. He picked quality places to take us to, especially for lunch. We had a personalized traditional Moroccan meal in an immaculate restored traditional home, with detailed carvings, mosaics, and artwork from floor to ceiling. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was great. We finished our tour with a tour of a ceramic school and workshop, which is a craft especially important to Fez. On the way out, we stopped at the top of a hill with a panoramic view of the Medinas we walked through, and the Merenid Tombs. Then, we had a nice drive home. I highly recommend seeing Fez this way. Idrissi is the best guide you’ll find in Fez!

For many visitors, Marrakesh's labyrinthine medina (old city) district is the town's star attraction. The narrow alleyways are a kaleidoscope of colors, scents, and sounds and are bound to be the sightseeing highlight of your trip. As well as simply wandering (and getting lost) amid the bustling maze, there are myriad shopping opportunities, where you can put your haggling hat on and barter to your heart's content. Shoppers shouldn't miss the Babouche (shoe) Souk, Chouari (carpenter's) Souk, El-Attarine (perfume and spice) Souk, and the Cherratine (leather) Souk. At the end of the day you will enjoy an imcredible experience by riding a camel

An unforgettable experience. First of all, our driver Hassan was very friendly, polite, and a gentleman. There are lots of trips to the Atlas Mountains available, but a great driver and guide makes a lot of difference. Our first stop was at an Argan Oil cooperative. We were also served refreshments and tea here, which was very lovely. There was no pressure to buy anything at all, during the time we were there. Tip: if you're planning to buy organic, natural argan oil - buy it from here. The feel of their argan oil on your skin is incomparable to those you find in the Medina. We then began our ascent to the Atlas Mountains. We stopped at a beautiful Mosque which was built in the early 13th century. This was my favourite part, as the Mosque was placed with a backdrop of the beautiful mountains. It was also very tranquil and calm. Afterwards, we were invited to a local Berber family's home for lunch. The lunch was delicious, and their hospitality was heartwarming.

So, having booked through Tripadvisor before and had thus far had very good experiences, you would think it would be a safe bet to pre-book an excursion or two in advance of going away...but no. Not this time...which is exceptionally frustrating considering we were really looking forward to seeing the Berber Show. So we were left waiting an hour, had no contact via Tripadvisor, Viator or Agadir Tours/Trips before hand or during the hour long wait. In the end, I had to call Viator from my phone (which has charged me FYI) to find out what was happening, ended up having my booking cancelled. So am now left feeling incredibly angry and frustrated, this whole incident spoiled our evening and trip.
