The 10 Best Cultural Tours in Sedona, Arizona (AZ)

June 26, 2021 Dorsey Hagwood

Sedona is a true oasis, a vacationer’s paradise in the middle of the Arizona desert. Here, you’ll find resorts and spas, canyons and red rock formations. Bell Rock and Oak Creek Canyon are great hiking spots, and the dramatic architecture of the Chapel of the Holy Cross is a religious experience itself. When the sun dips down below the horizon it introduces the best show in Sedona: the night sky.

Even if you are on the fence as to should you or shouldn’t you have a session with Anke, you should. This was the most helpful thing I’ve done for myself in easily 30 years. At the time of my session I honestly didn’t know what I intended to talk about. Anke said she could feel what I needed. I couldn’t believe what came out of my own mouth that I needed her direction. She has a gift a true gift that I would have never believed had I not experienced. My sincere thanks to Anke for the help to guide me in the best direction for the woman in me. It’ll be a journey that I welcome.

Wow! Vishali does an amazing job with her private tours. She picked us up from our hotel in Sedona in her CRV and took us all around Sedona. She is a great driver. We saw ‘snoopy’, ‘Lucy’, ‘Schroeder’, ‘the percolator’, ‘holy cross chapel’, ‘lion king’ and many other rock formations. She sat in the chapel with us for as long as we wanted. She took photos of us and even showed how to get the best photo angle. She was very patient and knowledgeable about the area. Sharing lots of history and points of interest. I highly recommend taking the tour with her. It was the highlight of our stay in Sedona.

We had an amazing time on our private Grand Canyon tour. Chris was very accommodating of us. We started at 7:45 AM in Sedona and had a beautiful drive out to the Grand Canyon filled with great conversation & many interesting facts from Chris about the region. The van was clean, comfortable and spacious. The Grand Canyon tour was fantastic, we would not have seen as much had we driven there on our own. Chris optimized our time so that we had as much time as possible at the Canyon. Also the lunch was incredible, he somehow managed to get us a reservation at the El Tovar Dining Room! From start to finish a fantastic day that I would recommend to anyone looking to see the Grand Canyon.
