My wife and I encountered Joyce on a houseboat cruise boat on the Kerala backwaters. Joyce was very clear and straightforward in his explanations of Kerala and its history, and given his 17 years of tour experience, had answers to all of our questions. We liked Joyce so much we hired him for an additional day to tour us around Cochin to see several sights (beach resort, Maharaja Palace, heritage museum, Fort Kochi, etc). Joyce was very flexible in adapting the tour so we could see what we wanted (more historical sites than massages or resorts), and he arrived early and catered completely to our needs. Will recommend Joyce to any of our friends that visit Kerala.

Ladies weave coir ropes from dried coconut husks, and you’ll see straw mats being woven out of wild pineapple leaves. I have been going there for years now and every time its something different. The history may seem the focus but its the human touch that makes the difference.people matter be it a tourist or a poor begger. They all contribute to ur experience. It may be a good photo opp but more than that is experiencing the life the people and the stories. I tend to talk a lot so meet people and share their stories. Its inspiring to hear every day people sharing their lives. Please its not a tourist attraction its a place to share ur life and learn from others so open ur heart and mind and be honest. its a spiritual experience where u meet real people with problems victory stories or just a joke it takes all to make a whole life
