Great Corvette event! All years of Corvettes were there. There were booths selling all types of items; not just for Corvettes.

An excellent museum that tells in a succinct and beautiful fashion the development of science and chemistry so that the non-scientist will understand the progress that has been made through chemistry.

Attended the Mecum Auto Auction here. The complex was clean and cool and everyone there was helpful and nice. Could use better food choices for attending public. Over all very well run and would attend the auction there again next time.

Pennsylvania Convention Center

This $522 million convention center has 440,000 square feet of exhibit space. Its draw, however, is more than its function; elegant on the outside and, in the inside, marvelously adorned with works by 52 artists, a flying design of steel and aluminum tubes spanning 70,000 square feet, a façade of the old Reading Railroad terminal and a 37 foot rotating electric guitar.

Big place. Had 4 enormous gyms inside. We stayed right across the street, walked over then walked to Panera for lunch.

David Lawrence Convention Center

We went to the annual Home and Garden Show. There is parking available around the center. There is a road that allows you to drive up within feet of the entrance so you can easily drop off or pick people up. We decided to park at Heinz Field and take the free shuttle. There is a ground floor, basement-like exhibit hall area and and a much nicer, second floor that has tall ceilings, lots of natural light, and great views of the Ohio River, bridges, and the North Shore. The lower level isn’t anything special but the upper level is a special place and worth going to see.

Lancaster County Convention Center

Reviewed By ConnecticutLocavore

The Convention Center is attached to the Marriott hotel so that the two are essentially the same facility. This is a wonderful convenience to Marriott visitors. The main exhibition room is not as large as the exhibition hall of a convention center in a larger city, but there are other rooms on other floors which can serve either as convention rooms or as hotel banquet rooms. The elevators are fast and efficient so that we never had to wait in a line to go to the other floors and rooms. While we didn't see the food vendors one usually sees at other venues (hot dogs, hamburgers, soda, etc.), the convention center had a large dining room with a buffet set up, and the hotel offers a dining room with excellent food. There are several restaurants within a block or so of the hotel, and there is the farmers' market full of vendors a half block away from the hotel front door. In the afternoon, there seems to be a snack and beverage service in the hotel lobby which is very comfortable and a great place to relax. There is a parking deck attached to the complex, but instructions for it aren't good. You may have to circle the block again to find the entrance. You can enter the Convention Center through the ramp that leads to the hotel.
