Wonderful place to stay
Reviewed By reynolds78006From check-in to check-out things were great! Room was spacious and clean with a nice view. The staff was grand efficient. No trouble with gates, washer or anything else- everything was isn good condition. We were very busy but wished we could’ve spent more time just enjoying the room and pool!

Reviewed By jessiebO152RPMy family and I stayed at Vista Cay by Millennium for over a week. Our entire stay was perfect and David at the front desk was simply AMAZING. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We rented a premium condo and everyone loved the comforts provided and location of the unit. The condo looked exactly like the photos online, and we were very pleased. The unit was clean, all beds were comfy, the internet and all tv's worked without issue, and the washer/dryer and all appliances worked well. Parking was plentiful throughout the week and the resort grounds are well-kept with many photo opportunities. The resort location is central to many eateries and venues yet tucked away on its own with little traffic issues. We are already planning our next trip and will definitely be staying Vista Cay again when we return. We stayed on property June 2022.

Park Place Inn and Cottages is part of the Sanford Historic district and centrally located to downtown on one of the most scenic streets in town, Park Avenue. The property was built in the early 1930's in the Craftsman and Colonial style of the era. Park Place Inn is a vacation rental property that guests can stay for one night or extended periods of time. Park Place Inn and Cottages is a Veteran owned business by Aaron Butler, who also owns Creations Catering and Events. We work very hard to make sure all guests have a great and memorable experience while staying with us. We also host weddings and events on the property. Our goal is to exceed your expectations, provide a comfortable, personable experience, and give you the feeling that you are at home, which is unique from a hotel chain. Reviewed By Escape583987Before you book, this is the scam they run. I booked for a low and enticing price ($150 for one night). Shortly after, they contact me to say I wasn't getting what I thought I paid for. OK, price was cheap, so now we doubled it (over $300 - paid in full for one night). They wait two months for the free cancellation period to expire and contact me again stating they were raising the rate and I needed to call and give them my credit card so they could take another $110 from me! They probably thought I'd have no other options days before I was to arrive on a holiday weekend. The booking agency intervened and gave me a full refund. Hotel then relisted the unit for far less then what they tried to charge me. I have all correspondence in writting and will be happy to post it so people can see how this works. If you book and then receive a message starting with "We are sorry for the confusion, but..." run for the hills.

Si tu ropa se arrugó en el viaje, eso no será un problema ya que, también en la habitación encontrarás una mini plancha junto con su tabla para planchar. Además de microondas, mini nevera y escritorio. Todos los huéspedes disfrutan de diferentes comodidades como, servicio de Wi-Fi en todas las áreas del Complejo, estacionamiento gratuito y las bondades de una ubicación bastante céntrica. Puedes disfrutar de un desayuno ¨All you can eat¨ todas las mañanas en el restaurante interno (por un costo adicional de $ 9.35 por persona) El hotel cuenta con una piscina al aire libre, además de espacios con vegetación donde podrá relajarse y leer un libro o tal vez practicar algo de ejercicio bajo el sol. Hay un vestíbulo con muebles cómodos y TV por cable, con sala de videojuegos y una zona de juegos infantiles. El gimnasio está disponible las 24 horas y cuenta con todo los implementos básicos para una rutina de ejercicios. Tiene una recepción donde puede encontrar información y orientación durante su estancia, además el check in puede hacerlo sin horarios, ya que, el día de su llegada recibirá un mensaje con la información de acceso a su habitación, lo que le permitirá ingresar, luego de las tres de la tarde a la hora que guste. Estamos a solo 10 minutos de la entrada de Disney, a poco menos de 20 minutos de SeaWorld y Universal Studios, además muy cerca de la locación encontrará diferentes oulets para realizar sus compras a los mejores precios. Frente al hotel y en sus alrededores encontrará todo lo que necesita para su comodidad, desde restaurantes con diversas propuestas gastronómicas, hasta tiendas de conveniencia y de artículos de regalos. Si lo que desea es diversión y esparcimiento también lo tiene muy cerca del hotel, puede ir a caminar al Old Town Kissimmee, contratar algún paseo en helicóptero o tan solo cruzando la calle visitar el museo militar.

We had issues last time too with the tub being very clogged with hair from their prior clients. they fixed it that time and where fast at getting to us…. But this time our stay was so short we just managed how we could

Reviewed By MichiganLady50There is only one pro to this review…the heated main pool! The cons are…complex is in a seedy area…not safe…too many beggars @ Hoagland & 192! Trying to get thru security is a nightmare! We come Jan thru March & have a monthly pass, but have to sit 20+ minutes to get in because traffic is lined up from both directions to get in. The owner did not supply us with a clicker so we sit & WAIT! The situation is not safe. Too many cars trying to get in @ once plus in & out from the complex across the street! It takes the guard forever to check in a newcomer & believe me the guard takes his/her sweet time. The “clicker” lane, for those who have clickers, doesn’t work half the time so those cars are also held up!! We’re snowbirds & this is our second year here. The complex has gone downhill since last year. There are more long-term renters than last year & it shows!! The grounds were better maintained last year. This year we have long-term people with dogs around us that do not pick up the dogs piles & the owners don’t carry bags so they have no intention of picking up after them. The smell is horrendous!! We complained to the owner of our unit…VB did nothing!! Unfortunately, we had a unit facing Hoagland & nothing but loud, speeding cars & some were so kind to share their LOUD music & bass with us for 3 months. This year (2022) has not been a pleasant year @ Venetian Bay & we will not be back. We were in hopes of coming back in future years, but we’re staying away from here & I’d advise anyone looking to rent here to think again…it’s not as they advertise!!

We ordered ubers whilst we were there and security were very thorough in checking that the drivers were genuine. Villa was great and the public areas were very well maintained. Oakwater Resort is a superbly located vacation rental community, just two miles from the entrance to Walt Disney World and close to many other fine shops and restaurants. Disney parks are quick 10 minutes away, Universal Studios is less than 20 minutes away, Sea World 15 minutes, Orlando International Airport 25 minutes and Clearwater on the Gulf Coast just a 90 minute drive away. So close to all the parks, but adjacent to Reedy Creek and lots of open conservation space and a lakeside trail. Whether you are here to relax, play golf, take in the sights or just have fun, Oakwater is the perfect place for your family vacation. Oakwater homes are INDIVIDUALLY OWNED. The resort offers great facilities, and being a gated community, is a safe place for your family to stay. The Oakwater clubhouse features a concierge desk where guests can get information on local restaurants and other local amenities. There is also a state-of-the-art fitness center, a wonderful community pool and hot tub/ spa, and a games room, pool tables and table tennis. The clubhouse also enjoys free wireless internet access, and there is a 50 inch plasma TV so that you can enjoy your favorite sports or movies. All units have wifi. The TV also features PC connectivity, which is ideal for business meetings, presentations and private functions. Children are not forgotten as they can enjoy a private playground, and a dancing fountain. There is also a tennis court, basketball area and a separate beach volleyball court.
Pool wasn’t heated for our 8 week stay
Reviewed By Sherpa470628The guy running Oakwater ( Andy) did not turn the pool heat on for the8 weeks we were staying there. We have been staying in Oakwater since 2010 and all the previous managers kept the place in very good order. The place is now looking very run down, the streets are full of leaves constantly, there are paper masks everywhere, for 6 weeks the clubhouse water filter didn’t work there were no wipes in the gym, the clubhouse staff were rude and unfriendly when we asked any questions ( mainly about the pool heat) For 2 days we were locked out of the pool because the manager didn’t pay the fees to the local government, he then went on to blame the previous management for the problem ( which wasn’t down to the previous management to pay) The pool deck and chairs were filthy. I think it would be a good idea to get management who would run the place as it should be and has been until the new management took over in 2021
