Order: Standard cannoli, Dirty espresso Price: $9 Pros: Best cannoli I’ve ever eaten, remarkably unique hot chocolate, the owner is very friendly Cons: The chocolate in the hot chocolate is so rich that it would be hard to finish alone Thoughts: Let me start by saying I would eat myself into oblivion with their cannoli. They are mind blowing, life changing, reality altering (take your pick of extreme over-the-top descriptors)! When I saw them in the window not filled with cream yet, I knew these were the ones. The crust was perfect, crispy but not hard, like a cookie that breaks easily with just the perfect amount of snap. The filling was delightful, none of the standard bland, flavorless whipped cream nonsense. It had body to it, a thick rich flavorful cream stuffed into the perfect pastry. I was in heaven. So now for the rest of the review, though honestly you should know by now that you have to go there. The interior is very, um…..eclectic, it’s a bizarre mish mash of all sorts of different decorations that doesn’t quite seem to match, but still somehow works together. The menu is a little complicated in that most of the items don’t really have a description they just have a name of drink. Fortunately the staff were very helpful and funny to boot, so ultimately deciding wasn’t that hard especially since one of them had coffee. Watching him make the drink was also neat, they have different blends of chocolate they called chocolate salami that they shave over the hot chocolate. The chocolate itself is delicious but very heavy and rich. There were two of us drinking it so it worked perfectly but if you were trying to drink this on your own it would be really challenging, so that really just means you need to bring someone with you! I can’t recommend going to RIM enough and buying all their cannoli, and then shipping me some in Florida….please!

Kingfly Spirits is a Pittsburgh-based distillery dedicated to producing small batch spirits that meet only the highest standards. We source the best available natural ingredients from all across the globe including lemons from Sorrento, Italy; sugar cane from Colombia; spices from Vietnam, grapes from Napa Valley, and more. Headquartered in a newly restored 1900s carriage house in Pittsburgh’s historic Strip District, Kingfly welcomes visitors to enjoy tours, classes, tastings, curated music events, and cocktails from a bar program designed to highlight our spirits. We also offer a diverse range of exceptional wine, beer, and spirits from fellow producers in Pennsylvania and an extensive and flexible space for hosting events ranging in size from intimate affairs to large gatherings of up to 285 guests. Our team welcomes friends new and old to Kingfly — established 2019.
Two partners have done an excellent job of making over an old barn right in the Strip district. They serve only libations from Pennsylvania - wine, beer, spirits, even soft drinks. Wonderful open event space upstairs where we had a super party with about 70 people. Food catered in. Lots of folks downstairs enjoying themselves on a summer weekend.

Great small town movie theater showing 1st run and modern classic movies. Live performances in both the theater and cafe. Relaxing and friendly environment. Great food.
Shows up to date movies, older movies and has a very nice snack area where you can sit & enjoy something before the movie

This is my favorite shop in Peddlers Village. I love that they have a chef cooking with tastings with different products that they offer. Great way to try a recipe before buying the ingredients. They offer so many things that you can't always find in other store that make a meal unique. I love how helpful the staff is by offering you to try something you are looking at. The day I was there they had a class going on about making appetizers. Fun! Wish I lived closer! Definitely a must stop when here!

Truly Great Coffee Imagine yourself in a comfortable nook, surfing the web (Free WiFi), holding a business meeting, hanging out with friends, listening to great music (sometimes LIVE), admiring local art, catching some rays on our patio, participating in open mic night, hearing a poetry reading, going through our drive-thru for a quick cup of joe before or after work and you will understand the draw and excitement of the Greenbean Coffee House. The Greenbean is open 7 days a week. Serving the finest coffees, espresso based drinks, and pastries in Central PA. We are not exaggerating... our coffee is incredible and our vibe is unlike any other coffee spot you have seen...{best beans in the universe}

Small dining area, eclectic in style, books surrounding you. Books available for perusal while dining - careful use a napkin! - or to purchase. Building is unique and unspoiled architecture of the past, tables may not be level. Deal. It’s worth it. Coffee selection is varied, food good. Where else can one get Portuguese bread made into french toast? The Quadrant club is my recommendation!
